After playing Undertale Yellow, Justice leading the chorus is cast in a new light. Especially with how Clover and Flowey interact a lot during UTY, it makes this confrontation MUCH more personal. It also really matches Clover's internal sense of justice. Pacifist and neutral spoilers below.
I think this also fits with Clover's character development if you look at them through an order of Neutral, then Pacifist endings. They jumped down to bring justice to the fallen humans. Over time though, Clover becomes more sympathetic to monsters. The neutral route concludes with their true enemy being revealed- Flowey, who can reset their runs over and over. Flowey, who is forcing them out of the ruins and onto a new path because he is bored.
I think it's rather fitting for Clover to come back here to help Frisk. Because in a way, that's the best sort of justice they can deliver. To save another human from the fate that had once been their own- that's something that they don't hesitate to do in the Pacifist ending. And leading the chorus here seems like a retroactively rather fitting way to deliver their justice.
This is all well and good sadly the counterpoint is that this song was made 6 years ago… before undertale yellow was a concept but it’s cool it worked out (whether through convenience or intentional on the uy developers)

Everyone talking about Clover, but I also wanna point out that they make a duo with integrity, and it's an amazing coincidence considering the relation these two humans had in UTY
Damn yeah. You're right. Also, this kinda makes sense 'cause integrity and justice are qualities that fight for what is right. And also I heard of some theories about the soul of integrity being the sister/brother of Clover.
Funnily enough, a giant piece of the plot in UTY revolves around Integrity, but not in the way you'd think, Integrity was actually doing their own genocide/neutral route hence why their items were dusty when interacted with by Frisk. And why Chujin's serum didn't work, because integrity was impure. (Probably because they gained LV)

This became retroactively so much cooler after Undertale Yellow with Clover having the final solo.
Somehow, it makes sense, based on the traits of the souls when they sang in 2 parts.
Bravery, Justice and Perseverance wanted immediate violent revenge on Flowey, while Kindness, Patience and Integrity wanted Flowey to repent at first, before realising that was futile and helped Frisk defeat Flowey.
To be fair, your comment makes sense with that username. Pretty cool to know :)

This is my favourite song in Undertale the Musical, it's just so good.
And the more I listen to this, the more little things I notice, the better it all gets...
I don't even know what to say, other than that this is just... absolutely perfect.
Also, I'm amazed that Alex Rybitski's vocal chords have handled all this screaming. And that he also voiced Berdly from Deltarune the Musical.

This is the best song by far! I love it! The key points in it are:
1. Flowey's voice has a lot of personality.
2. The souls really ring out, and they show passion for the whole thing!

Something I'm not sure anyone else noticed... the yellow soul, the soul of Justice, got his own part at the end. The Justice, the repentance for Flowey's misdeeds, gets his say. He's the most recent death, the freshest soul, the newest addition to this collection of premature deaths. He's angry, still, and he deserves his piece, his *peace*. That's just good writing on MotI's part, my favorite piece from the original Musical Package by far.
Nice catch! That was exactly what I was going for; the others all pleading with Flowey to stop, and Justice saying "Okay, since you won't stop, it's time for us to put an end to it". (I was the lyricist for most of this song, and all of Finale, and I poured my heart into 'em to make 'em work).
