Very helpful video - thanks. In England, it's more cost effective if I buy the Stephenson's base...rather than making it from scratch. I calculated costings and to make it from scratch, it would have cost £17 per kg, rather than approximately £9 per kg of ready made base. I will say this though, made from scratch bases are much creamier and luxurious than the Stephenson's base x

So ironic- I just made a batch of your base yesterday! Now I’m ready for scrub making.
    Few questions-
    1. do your jars have metal lids or are they plastic?
    2. I love the idea of the pressure seal do you have a favorite supplier?
    3. Do you have any issues with the scrub deflating when shipping in the warmer months?
I would love to see how you fill the samples. I could see those little bags being a bit difficult.
So happy I found your channel. Your content is exactly what I

    Thank you for sharing! ❤️
The whipped recipe I found of yours was the one you used Optiphen Plus as your preservative at 13 g. Are the 2 preservatives interchangeable at an equal amount? Can I switch out the Germal plus for optiphen Plus in this recipe?

Hi Darlene, Love the recipe, with the extra preservative do you just add enough to cover the total weight of the extra ingredients? Or the total weight of the product. Thank you 😁

Darlene- I love your videos. They’re very informative and straightforward. I’m a candle maker and am thinking about expanding to soaps and body care. (It also helps that you measure in grams👍🏼).

In your whip base video, you’ve used optiohen but in this scrub recipe you say germal plus. Did you revamp your original base recipe to use the same preservative? I see that they are different usage rates, so just wondering before I make your whip base.

Hi Darlene, just watch d your making of whipped soap video…can I ask, is this a triple batch of the whipped soap recipes? Also where do you purchase the refined Hemp Seed Oil? I desperately want some 😊 would Sweet Almond Oil be a suitable replacement? I have just joined your Patron as I love your recipes and help so much ❤

You are so amazing God send for sharing your knowledge and recipes . Do you recommend any books that you've used. I'm interested in getting some cosmetic science books but they are so expensive, that I want to be sureI'm getting a good book with usable information on chemicals, presertives, waxes ect ect, And not just a reference book.

Can you add some liquid Castile soap to either the base or sugar scrub to get extra leather? Please and thank you for your reply

Darlene I will be using your recipe in future so thank you. I bought the Stephenson opc base here in Aus and found no ingredient is given on the tub. I looked online and can’t find them either. I don’t sell but I do like to know what is in a product and label accordingly. I do give to family friends as gifts. So annoying and I question the legality of not listing ingredients it only has product name and batch number made in UK. I bought 4 small tubs. Have others found the same problem
I have now located the ingredients online. Not sure why they don’t include on the product mind.
