Aw, I know how you feel - you made me laugh when you said you were cooking so many meals that day - to avoid working on your website. Website work can be soul destroying an mind numbing, but you always feel a sense of achievement when it's finished and if it helps people to order more easily, it's worth it. I just have to put on some good music. I think I'm just going to scoop my whipped soap into containers too, people will probably get more product - as piped whipped soap has more gaps / air around the piping.. Thanks for the comparison, that was really useful. Liked and subscribed x
Re: Preservatives ... at minimum, ensure that the one you select works against mold, yeast, and bacteria...and is active in the higher pH range of soap (8-10), as they are pH dependent.
What I use is press and seal. I stopped making sugar scrubs 3 years ago until I seen someone do the press n seal. I put the sheet sticky side up and I dumb some sugar scrub on it I seal it up and twice the end snip the end that I’m putting into the piping bag and then pipe. And I do 3-4 logs of the press n seal so when I’m done with one I pull it out and snip the end of the next one and pipe then I throw it out. No mess at all. Now I love making them!
Your soap base it’s a lot nicer, even that I struggle making it 😰 I will try again it’s worth it, I will try to fix my mistakes, I love this whipped soap sugar scrub made with your soap base❤️❤️🥰 thank you again! Have a great day!
So I have never watched Greys Anatomy, but I have enjoyed your short versions. BUT, then this morning on our morning show, up pops Kate Walsh, who now calls Perth, Australia 🇦🇺 home. And I knew who she was…. Cause you told me 😊
i wanted to redo my question, i found with the stephenson's a good trick for anyone using it or wanting to get rid of it. you can make it put it in containers and freeze it and it holds up :)
put product on glad press n seal then drop it into your piping bag. can be done with a big piping bag so you don't have to refill as often. less mess and time.
I just restarted my AC island, too. Decided I didn't want the grandkids creations on it. Getting back into gaming at 56. I did manage to get 3 new shirts on my website. Yay me!! 💕
I also think its so much is wasted when you use a bag or that pump thing you used. I need to try your homemade soap base and this sugar scrub. Can't wait till you get ya website up u would like to try yours.
watching your videos help me SO MUCH I have much respect and admiration for what you do. I am still trying to figure out how to work all the web things. what do you recommend for web page design ? Thank you for sharing all of your knowledge, it makes such a big difference for people like me. I live in a tiny town in East Texas called Elkhart, soap making is where my heart is, and you sharing your videos helps give me the courage and knowlege I needed to JUST DO IT!
I have a crazy ton of web work to do and I am absolutely avoiding doing all of the things. I have videos to edit and pics to take. Instead of anything soap related I reorganized my kitchen and pantry today. I'm not happy with Stephenson foaming bath whip. It just doesn't bubble with my hard water. 😔
Put your piping bag inside a large drink cup then fill it , the cup supports your piping bag so you've got both hands to use. Much less messy Great video as always. Thank you for sharing with us.
I think the piping bag could work out to be faster if it was big enough that she could fit her whole batch in one and just fill it once and then bloop bloop bloop down the line of her containies 🤔
Yes, but you still have to reopen that bag and put it back over a cup, getting it all over. I have to agree with Chantine here, slap it in the container and be done. The clean up is minimal. Now if I do want a fancy look, I'll use a piping bag. It's usually a limited addition thing that I sell at retail shop. I don't ship it because it all falls anyway. Jill
Oh no! I'm so sorry you lost your island. But now you can start over and design it any way you want and name it whatever you want. I play Animal Crossing every day. I made Isabell's "vacation juice" into a sugar scrub.
I know that feeling about u losing ur animal crossing account sorry to hear about it 😭 I tried to move my shiny Pokémon collection to a pc so I could put them in another pokemon game ( cus back then there was no Pokémon bank ) and I lost most of them and to this day I feel heartbroken about it :(
Iuse a combination of a emulsified sugar scrub plus a surfactant involved and I love it in comparison to Stephenson's or WSP whipped soap. It stays in the container like your whipped soap and I think it has a slightly larger bubble. Shipping Stephenson's was a nightmare because it always settles and I don't like that. Even though customer recieves labeled amount it looks like a rip off in the jar. I haven't delt with unsatisfied shipping in a long time, because I quit using pre made bases. If I can't make it myself, I don't carry it, except a perfume base. I use a perfume base. Otherwise, why did I pay for a diploma in organic skin and hair care? No bases, lol! Jill
Hi Wayne. I made a couple batches of S&C soap paste and was just thinking about adding SLS to it to get more bubbles for my whipped soap and sugar scrub. Just wondered if you had tried this or a different surfactant and how it went. Thank you in advance.
I’ve worked so hard on this website and have accomplished nothing. Well, it feels that way at least.
Aw *hugs* You got this! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
We are here for you and thank you for all that you do

Hey girl, I use a canning funnel. for most of my jars. It works GREAT. Thank you for all the info. Keep up the good work.

Just tried your recipe of soap paste and it’s amazing! Thanks so very much for your incredible videos and sharing your knowledge!
So I have never watched Greys Anatomy, but I have enjoyed your short versions. BUT, then this morning on our morning show, up pops Kate Walsh, who now calls Perth, Australia 🇦🇺 home. And I knew who she was…. Cause you told me 😊
Yay! She’s epic!
Lol... This is why I don't game anymore. I was constantly screwing my stuff up🤣
i wanted to redo my question, i found with the stephenson's a good trick for anyone using it or wanting to get rid of it. you can make it put it in containers and freeze it and it holds up :)
I definitely feel your pain. I love Animal Crossings and you definitely put in time. I would LOVE to see your island.
Loved this one especially as I have young grandchildren.

You are blowing my mind
I HATE the website side of it all so you have my sympathy
Hello Mrs Soap and Clay. I would like to stick with your recipe. Very lovely and as natural as it could be. Big hug from BKK!!💓❤️
Hello newbie I was wondering how do we list the base ingredients on our labels love your videos

Oooh noo! I just deleted my whole island recently (on purpose) and restarted. I love the happy home paradise dlc too :)

So you get the procrastination bit!
My deepest condolences for your island :((
Have you thought about using a canning funnel? It has a wide opening but still keeps the edges clean

You can’t fit batches this big in any piping bag, I’ve learned! Good idea, though! Denise - that is a great idea!

Deep dive on preservatives, please & thank you. - Timo
It’s coming!

Ha! Her vacation juice. Many a meme about that. 😂

Oh nooo! I would be messed up about that for a long time!
I'm so sorry about your island. I would just die!!!
It’s not fun. 😭
If you don't mind a suggestion - a larger sized ice cream/cookie scoop might work and speed up the filling of the jars.
Am so sorry that happened to you . 😥

What a fun question, given the video that’s coming up this afternoon!
@@MrsSoapAndClay OMG!! So excited!!!!!
Previously you used glycerin. Today you mentioned using light weight oil. Do you prefer using one over the other?
It can go either way - I’ve given two recipes not from a base. One with glycerin, the most recent one with oil.
Ohhh well maybe starting over on AC is a good thing, no cats lol.
I am an Animal Crossing Addict... make sure back ups are on, it is sad you lost your island.
68 percent faster, including the wipe downs, to fill with spatula only:) imo
That damn piping bag will be the death of me. 😂
Shloopy! I do dislike shloopy scrubs 😂
Someone sounds lazy. Sorry I don’t do sloppy.
Your mom said otherwise.
