Bro! I've the same van and was freaking out today when the exact thing happened. Found your video and restored my sanity knowing I can do this on my own. Just need a day off. Thanks for the video... Can't go wrong getting tips from a dude with a flat brimmed DC hat and a good taste in vans. Cheers!
I easily saved a couple of hundred dollars with this solution. My van is old old old and I'm doing fixes on it. I'm going to do some body work on it using bondo. It's not the best but it makes the van look a bit neater.
Great job! I have a 98 Sienna and have personally replaced the liftgate latch, both front door inner door handles, one front door outer handle, and one sliding door outer handle.
@@SilverCabin it's definitely satisfying fixing it yourself and saving money!!! I watch youtube how to videos as much as possible. Becoming a TH-cam technician if you will, lol...
That's really cool you got it working, again. I couldn't do it lol Going to be a hot humid one tonight, I think. Supposed to rain all day tomorrow. Things are really dry and dusty out there so rain will be good 👍❤️⚔️🔥🐴
Crap, I was just getting started removing the 2nd bolt to access the rusted metal bit so I could create my own and the whole handle broke off at the hinge. Pretty much sums up my diy skills.
Ouch! That's going to be a tough fix. Mine just broke off the part where the pull handle links. There's got to be another TH-cam video about this subject. TH-cam is amazing!

Great tip on putting empty bags into hollow door frame…I dropped a bolt and the bags saved me! … Thanks for posting!
