Using icing/powdered sugar is a great idea. I like kettle corn sweet, buttery and lightly salted. The best popcorn salt is made from cheap supermarket sea salt pulverized in a food processor.
sugar is in everything... seriously, check the food labels at ur grocery store... there isn't one dam'thing in the store without added sugar. even so-called health foods like yogurt contain added sugar. so now were adding sugar to popcorn too? AGRRRR!
