Thanks for the video! It was much more helpful than a printed pattern. I made an orange sweater for my black cat, Kirby! He is used to wearing a harness so no problems checking the fit as it went along, or putting it over his head. So cute!

Making this for my darling Bella! Since it’s going to be in the 30’s degrees this whole next week! She’s been hanging out on top of the large wardrobe in my bedroom, so maybe she’s been feeling cold.. I know when she gets really cold because she’ll ask me to sleep close to me under the covers with her head on my pillow! This is a great pattern style since all the ones I’ve purchased (that have front leg holes)cause her to feel like a stuffed cat sausage and she walks very funny! I think she’ll do better with this style.. thank you!
So is it a sc on top of a dc and dc on top of a sc,,,, i have been searching your video and transcript for the answer but alas no where to be found 😭 My long hair cat had to be shaved yesterday and we live in the cold south and its winter time so im desperate for the answer that i can go ahead and make this big boy a coat to keep his back warm thank you,,,
I'm pretty sure you explained it already, but I'm a little bit confused. When do I stop increasing? when it reaches my cat's front legs? or when I want to attach the rib band?
Hi Jolyne! You can choose to add the hole to accommodate a leash attachment if your cat goes outside on harness and leash like Melba does. You can leave it out if that doesn't apply for your kitty. 🥰

Hi! It depends on the size sweater you need and the size of your skeins but I used around three quarters of a 100g/160m skein for Melba. She is is a small to medium sized cat. I hope that helps! Happy crocheting! 🥰
