They often put away the futon for the day and only bring it out at night. Sometimes in the living room, sometimes in another room :D

Great tour your style is very comforting. It's a lot like how I grew up in the mountains of Washington state. I love the simplicity that you have achieved with the different textures between the wood and the iron. Thank you so much for sharing a part of your world with us.
If I ever made a kitchen tour video, it would probably go like this:
"Um... here's a bunch of crap I didn't even know I had".
"Oh shit, all of this is expired. Should probably throw that out... maybe later."
"I should probably do the dishes as well."
"Is that an ANT."
"I don’t even remember why I bought this."
"Yeah, I don’t exactly... eat healthy. It's just not my thing, y'know?"
"Oooh, I have some leftovers of the macaroni I made last night. Looks like I don't have to order a pizza for lunch today."

What would you need a partner for, if you can already do everything? Unless a couple is comprised of soulmates who are equals, they're usually in the relationship because they're lacking something that they can find in the other person.

Just speaking in the context of this comment. We should be able to take care of our basic needs (like cooking and cleaning...and probably organizing and other everyday life things), if we're determined to be competent adults. There's no reason why one can't learn these things on their own. If a couple were to SHARE these duties in a household, awesome. But it's lame when people refer to someone as being perfect husband or wife material because they can't/won't develop fundamental life competencies.
I can't imagine that Ryoya would want a lazy, codependent woman or whatever gender he's interested in. He's here to show us how DOABLE things are to have a really high quality of life, if we're willing to put in some sweat equity.
People look for different things in a relationship...most are unhealthy. I'm just all for what's mutually beneficial, that allows people to grow throughout their lives, both individually and collectively.
I want to be just like you when I grow up!!! Nevermind that I'm 37 years old and have kids of my own. 😂😂 You give me goals.

thank you for the kitchen and house tour! I have yet to meet a guy as organized as you are! I love the minimalist idea of the kitchen and house with everything in their proper list. Definitely will have to rearrange my kichen shelves and storage areas! Still catching up with all the videos but am getting there!

Most person I know who uses their hands. Cooking, photography, videography, pottery, carpentry, gardening, and music. Did I forget to mention anything else?? I swear he is a role model to me. Watching his videos not only teach me a lot but they also make me self-reflect, which eventually led to my decision of taking pottery classes and Oud classes (Being a university student this is the maximum I could fit into my schedule). Thank you for all your hard work.

Less is more. I was born and raised in Okinawa, we made do. I do this here in Hawaii, cooking, cleaning, a workout room, very small but spacious about 650 sq feet, a tidy beautiful apartment with my 3 furballs :)
