You missed a key implication of the Grave Danger Ending. Remember, the mascots are being held captive by Raglan and it's the main reason they've started acting incredibly violently. The news clipping showing the house trashed in a probable struggle suggests that the mascots did finally find a way to escape the restaurant and then went to enact revenge on Raglan. By what means they were kept in and by extension how they escaped is another matter, but given that the house is described similarly the office in regular Ending, not to mention that the "TIME'S UP!" message is probably not just a threat directed at the player, Freddybear may have been the key to their escape.
I think its just Raglan made a contract with the creatures possesing animatronics to feed them, in return they possess animatronics making them more lively, but they cant escape pizzeria, not until the deal is broken. After end of 5 night Raglan fails his end of deal so things possessing animatronics can now eacape pizzeria and encat revenge on him
Freddybear is much more powerful than the rest, not just the ring leader probably their captor, it's implied he burned wolfgang to ash and is raglan's benefactor, freddybear gets corpses, raglan gets puppets, rodriguez is the first to reach night 5 and force freddybear to make a move, this might have been his motivation for killing raglan in his own home.
I thinkbthe times up is meant to represent that the deal between Raglan and the devil is OFF. the demons weren't fed for a long time, time is up, the deal is off and the demons may now roam the earth

Honestly I'm not a fan of the camera mechanics, not giving the player control over their main tool is a bit much, and it doesn't make much sense in universe, seriously, who the hell would make a camera system like that? 🤔

quick note but mrs. rodriguez is the mother of the protagonist, who is also the missing journalist mentioned during the opening cutscene. sam is an adult, not a child. sam took up the job to investigate but it obviously ended up going poorly.

My favorite way to describe Graveyard Shift in its entirety is that it fully captures how FNaF felt at its creation. To middle schoolers like me, I mean. And *especially* with wayward hoaxes spawning around it that I'd hear. This game is a capsule of the kind of terror I felt from witnessing the first game alone, and while FNaF 1 is not nearly as scary to me now out of exposure, I'll never forget that first feeling
I really love how this game's version of Golden Freddy doesn't even jumpscare you, but rather take you to the menu instead. It's as if whatever happened to you was so bad that the game chose to spare you the aftermath.

It’s possible that Freddybear was controlled by the devil or something since there’s a lot of things implying the owner made a deal to get all this success but he’d need to feed the monsters acting like the animatronics, and since he failed to due to Mr Rodríguez surviving up until the final night, the devil (Or some entity like him) took control of Freddybear and that’s why he’s able to leave and later kill the owner without perishing like Wolfgang did. This is just my theory mostly based on other people’s but I think there’s a lot proving it.
You're absolutely correct, wolfgang died because he tried to run away from the restaurant, the devil, that being freddy, killled him he goes on to kill (Likely in this order) our protagonist, the animatronics and Raglan himself because he couldn't maintain his deal, since we survived instead of being food for the devil (for some time anyways)

Graveyard Shifts isn't ransomware itself, but the game's art style for the menus and the UI are inspired by a popular FNAF ransomware hoax video. People referring to it as the "ransomware fan game" are referencing it being a fan game based on a specific piece of ransomware, not the game actually being ransomware.
I remember seeing the Gomotion video for this game, and was really interested in the full product. What really interested me was the promo poster, with how Freddybear is doing the "As above, so below" gesture. This already adds such a different tone than pretty much every other fangame. And with the story, it's pretty clear what's going on. These aren't robots, they're demons. Bound to this plane in which they don't belong. They only way to keep them complacent is for them to feed. I love how the story of this game is relatively simple, but still absolutely horrifying.

i think its really interesting that the death message changed when the game fully released, in the demo it was the person in the death message apologizing to the player, but now its “you knew what you were doing when you signed up here, this is more or less your fault” edit: i realize now that instead of the person apologizing to you directly, its more in third person
that's cause in the demo you play as the typical nightguard and get got after the demo ends on night 2. in the full game you're playing as a different character who knows something is up
The animatronics having a need to eat does make it seem even more terrifying because instead of being put into a suit, you will be chewed on and discarded until you rot away. It also makes them seem more animalistic, being driven by their hunger.

I like to think that Freddybear got possessed by the devil himself at the end seeing how Rodriguez was just too good at not dying. Imagine the demons frustration and the fact they had to call in their boss essentially to finally get you.

Playing through this game on my channel, and on night 2, my door ran out of power just as chica was at it (meaning she poked her head into the window). She just sat at that window for the full recharge. I even survived. Tbh, I found it hilarious.
Amazing Video on an amazing game. I do have 2 things to add tho: 1st: the difficulty of the animatronics DOES increase from night to night. It is just paired with a game changing mechanic ontop of that. 2nd: Grave Danger Mode not just gives you 3 lives but also makes the animatronics more aggressive. That´s all. I really enjoy the video and am really hoping for you to make more great content.
Okay first of all, to clarify, the puppets aren't possessed, nor are the demons stuffed inside or being held captive, as Freddybear is canonically a manifestation of Satan. He left the restaurant on night 5 after killing Rodriguez and killed Raglan. The rest of the cast are simple demons that are willingly killed by Freddybear, by burning. Oh by the way that thing in the playroom is Berry, not Wolfgang. Wolfgang died before Rodriguez even showed up.
If you guys actually care about the lore and story the actual lore and story is that raglan ended up making a deal with the devil, Freddy bear, which is the name of the final animatronic and the one that kills you, Sam Rodriguez, at the end of the story, he is also the real one that is not allowing the animatronics to leave the shop, the devil gave Raglan a restaurant which is something that he always wanted making sure that was successful and giving him puppet but he was the devil sacrifices, in order to make sure that this plan went perfectly he became one of the puppets himself known as Freddy bear, you play Sam Rodriguez going through the nights but you are making it farther than everyone else which is breaking the deal for Raglan, which is why he sounds so choked up and scared when he speaks to you on the fifth night, Freddie bear soon turns into dready bear, and when it hit 6 AM he kills you saying time is up, referring to how time is up as Raglan only had five days to get you killed and since you didn't die that night at the time that was needed, devil Fred Bear(is what I'm calling him for now) breaks into your office and kills you, just wanted to let you know that when you die on the left side of the screen that is your face, your face is so rearranged and maimed that you can't even recognize it as a face, hell in that secret image of the seller you can't even recognize your own body it takes you looking closer to realize that that's a body that's ripped in half missing a whole arm and it's rib cage split open, the whole story can be explained if you go into the game Files and your death is also described in the files, and it is brutal you are literally basically eaten alive and torn apart and then your carcass is discarded, tossed into the cellar with the rest, your body is so mutilated Raglan says that he couldn't even recognize you and that if he hadn't hired you he wouldn't have even known who you were and that you were a dead body, As for Raglan at the end of the game he end up being dragged into the seller by Devil Fred bear for not being able to keep his end of the deal, Killing him, this is the story summarized for those who are interested.
To explain the ending. When sam was killed.. He was taken to the cellar where HE threw him. Down like all the poor souls. Believing what happened with raglan, he might have a mental breakdown and ran away from his creation.. In the normal ending. For the secret ending beat it at. Gravedanger.

If you haven't already you should take a deep dive into FNAF 2 reimagined. It's a Roblox fnaf fangame and it's lore goes deep in my opinion. Or far from land, its a also on Roblox and the final enemy really hits hard when you realize the lore.
The whole game, while being made in Roblox is one of the best reimaginings of a game. It’s genuinely scary, intense and has a lot of interesting mechanics and a good story.
The music box animatronic isn’t Wolfgang..the cutscene prior very, very heavily insinuates that Wolfgang was burned, if you checked the extras menu you’d know that the animatronic on the stage was named Berry the bat

I have no clue why people are even debating on if Sam Rodriguez(our protagonist) is Mrs. Rodriguez's son or husband. I felt it was pretty damn obvious that Sam is her son, especially since I've never heard any wife refer to her husband as "my boy".

And with the story, it's pretty clear what's going on. These aren't robots, they're demons. Bound to this plane in which they don't belong. They only way to keep them complacent is for them to feed.
I love how the story of this game is relatively simple, but still absolutely horrifying.

i think its really interesting that the death message changed when the game fully released, in the demo it was the person in the death message apologizing to the player, but now its “you knew what you were doing when you signed up here, this is more or less your fault”
edit: i realize now that instead of the person apologizing to you directly, its more in third person

that's cause in the demo you play as the typical nightguard and get got after the demo ends on night 2. in the full game you're playing as a different character who knows something is up
To paraphrase, they say pathetically and predictably the guy makes an attempt at apology before cleaning up the mess and tossing you aside.
The animatronics having a need to eat does make it seem even more terrifying because instead of being put into a suit, you will be chewed on and discarded until you rot away. It also makes them seem more animalistic, being driven by their hunger.
I think the most terrifying part of this game is that it takes place in Denver Colorado

Playing through this game on my channel, and on night 2, my door ran out of power just as chica was at it (meaning she poked her head into the window).
She just sat at that window for the full recharge. I even survived. Tbh, I found it hilarious.

Amazing Video on an amazing game. I do have 2 things to add tho:
1st: the difficulty of the animatronics DOES increase from night to night. It is just paired with a game changing mechanic ontop of that.
2nd: Grave Danger Mode not just gives you 3 lives but also makes the animatronics more aggressive.

Okay first of all, to clarify, the puppets aren't possessed, nor are the demons stuffed inside or being held captive, as Freddybear is canonically a manifestation of Satan. He left the restaurant on night 5 after killing Rodriguez and killed Raglan. The rest of the cast are simple demons that are willingly killed by Freddybear, by burning. Oh by the way that thing in the playroom is Berry, not Wolfgang. Wolfgang died before Rodriguez even showed up.

If you guys actually care about the lore and story the actual lore and story is that raglan ended up making a deal with the devil, Freddy bear, which is the name of the final animatronic and the one that kills you, Sam Rodriguez, at the end of the story, he is also the real one that is not allowing the animatronics to leave the shop, the devil gave Raglan a restaurant which is something that he always wanted making sure that was successful and giving him puppet but he was the devil sacrifices, in order to make sure that this plan went perfectly he became one of the puppets himself known as Freddy bear, you play Sam Rodriguez going through the nights but you are making it farther than everyone else which is breaking the deal for Raglan, which is why he sounds so choked up and scared when he speaks to you on the fifth night, Freddie bear soon turns into dready bear, and when it hit 6 AM he kills you saying time is up, referring to how time is up as Raglan only had five days to get you killed and since you didn't die that night at the time that was needed, devil Fred Bear(is what I'm calling him for now) breaks into your office and kills you, just wanted to let you know that when you die on the left side of the screen that is your face, your face is so rearranged and maimed that you can't even recognize it as a face, hell in that secret image of the seller you can't even recognize your own body it takes you looking closer to realize that that's a body that's ripped in half missing a whole arm and it's rib cage split open, the whole story can be explained if you go into the game Files and your death is also described in the files, and it is brutal you are literally basically eaten alive and torn apart and then your carcass is discarded, tossed into the cellar with the rest, your body is so mutilated Raglan says that he couldn't even recognize you and that if he hadn't hired you he wouldn't have even known who you were and that you were a dead body, As for Raglan at the end of the game he end up being dragged into the seller by Devil Fred bear for not being able to keep his end of the deal, Killing him, this is the story summarized for those who are interested.
Also you can tell that Freddy is the devil by looking on the cover of the game where Freddy is in the pose of baphomet.

If you haven't already you should take a deep dive into FNAF 2 reimagined. It's a Roblox fnaf fangame and it's lore goes deep in my opinion. Or far from land, its a also on Roblox and the final enemy really hits hard when you realize the lore.

The whole game, while being made in Roblox is one of the best reimaginings of a game. It’s genuinely scary, intense and has a lot of interesting mechanics and a good story.

I have no clue why people are even debating on if Sam Rodriguez(our protagonist) is Mrs. Rodriguez's son or husband. I felt it was pretty damn obvious that Sam is her son, especially since I've never heard any wife refer to her husband as "my boy".
Cool game but it's not really "ransomware-like". Idk if the developer even knew what that meant because the game never tries to ransom money out of you like actual ransomware does.
