- Bloomer is one of the oldest engines working on the Fat Controller's railway who was once found in an old abandoned shed many years ago in Scotland. He's restored and now pulls enthusiast specials to the branch lines on the NWR. On one of these trips, he'd witnessed a runaway Annie and Clarabel, an unexpected christening, a disgruntled postman and bikes.

To me, the relationship with Bloomer and Thomas is like an uncle and his nephew
Bloomer being the wise, but cocky uncle and Thomas being the young and fiesty nephew
I love how when Thomas tries to be nice by relating to Bloomer everyone tells him to shut up.
That part involving the champagne bottle is actually based on a video I filmed.

I try to be nice to others but sometimes they tell me to shut up. Sometimes I think "F*** Off" is a response to "Hey Up" yet not everywhere - don't get those types in certain other places...
A lost characters finally having a story. Bloomer is interesting character and has dynamics with Thomas, Mavis, and the coaches.
I love that Bloomer finally got some light in the form stories and I'm glad Elsie and the quarrymens' coach got some recognition aswell.
I like Bloomer’s accent and scruffy facial hair. And he called Mavis his darling. Isn’t he a sweetheart?🥰
I suppose he is like a gentle, loving, kindly grandfather.
What an interesting stories. Bloomer looks like a great engine, an early design of the Sterling Singles. Thomas really was jealous of him and Mavis certainly got to have her own adventures too :).
I found out Bloomer's class were built for Expresses on the LNWR. I have a feeling Bloomer would have acted like Gordon in his younger days on expresses
didn't Bloomer use coke when he was a young engine? engines burnt coke to try and control their coal smoke until the mid 1850s I believe

I love that you used Rondeau by Jean-Joseph Mouret as Bloomer’s theme. It’s one of my favorite pieces and fits him so well. the stories here are fantastic too, I love them all
