NWR Tales S11 Ep.13: A New Year for Toby & Algy | NEW YEAR SPECIAL

My last video for the year 2022 and with that the 10th anniversary year of my series draws to a close. I hope everyone had enjoyed these videos as much as I had been making them. I hope everyone has a Happy and safe 2023. See you all there!

An old face had returned to Toby after he'd settled onto Thomas' branch line. That old face was Algy the blue bus. Algy was one of the buses that had taken Toby's passengers and he was rude to the old tram engine. One day on New Years eve, he was to take Bertie's passengers on a mystery tour but had gotten lost since he was new to the Island.

A fantastic story. I didn't know Algy came from Toby's old home on the Mainland. But the history between the two makes it understandable to why they couldn't get along. But what a way for them to sort things out, just in time for the New Year :) .

A great way to conclude S11. Never thought we'd see Toby and Algy interact and we did! Their amends near the end reminded me of Confused Coaches in a way. Even their rivalry at the beginning remind me a bit of Horrid Lorry.
