This has really helped me to structure my journaling. I always write the same negative things but with different words. Having some sections to write under will help get me out of the rut of negativity
    Thank you x

Wow! Thankyou so much Elisa. I clicked on this video, not sure if it would be that helpful, but my goodness, it’s really given me great ideas and tips to try for myself. You truly know what goes through the minds of eating disorder sufferers, and the struggles we have on a daily basis. Xx

Hey, i was undereating the last 2 years and recovered pretty quickly. The one thing that is weird tho is that st the same time i started undereating i started getting redness / rash (dermatitis) around my mouth. The rash is still not gone. How do i know if i fully recovered and can this skin issue be caused by that?

i'm halfway through your book and it's amazing and very helpful. i wanted to ask, is it essential to stop exercising in order to recover? i mean if i eat more than the calories required to recover and exercise, won't i be able to recover?
also about this video, i'm trying to reduce exercise, not quit it completely, how can i journal to be successful at this particular target? i'm not ready to fully recover so i'm at least trying to not overdo it with exercise, to prevent any more damage. can you make a video about journaling about the process of recovery?

You say you are not ready to recover, but when will you be? There is never a ‘right’ time to recover, we just have to. In my opinion you can’t recover without letting go of viewing exercise as calorie burn or a way to control your body. If you can’t stop exercising for your health short term, then you won’t recover. It really isn’t a sacrifice, if you want to recover... you have to stop.. you can make the choice for you to take the step I know you can. Good luck❤️

Thank you Elisa for this video 🙏🏽💗also, I am wondering .. do you think having a cat in recovery is a good thing ? I.e. could animals help?

    • @beneaththedogwoodtree7944

I can't speak for anyone else, but my cat has certainly helped me! Taking time to play with her, feed her, brush, and care for her in general has not only helped me take my mind off my own issues, but I think it also in some weird way helps me with self compassion. Having a purpose outside of myself during this time of recovery that is appreciated with cuddles and purrs is encouraging for me. Perhaps it can be encouraging for you too! Perhaps you have given me an idea for a future video! Cats in Recovery! Awesome! Thanks!

Can you have a combination of anorexia, orthorexia and bulmia?

you can have as many things in different ways im sure because the human mind is like a sponge with nerves and nerves can sometimes all be set in a way thats a combination of things like mental illnesses so i would say yeah bc i have several eating disorders combined too unfortunately
