Pulling the YJ motor and Update

    I just did motor swap on a 90 yj, a couple weeks ago. You can get rid of most of that wiring under the hood. A lot of it goes to the computer under the dash. I stripped all the wiring out and was only left with 4 main red wires that go to the starter/battery side, they feed power to the fuse block. The only other thing I left was one wire for temp sender, one wire for oil pressure, and the one wire for the heater blower motor. I ditched everything else. Open up that harness and strip all that shit out, it's not to hard.

      Also keep the oil pressure sending unit and the coolant temp sender, that's in the old 6 cylinder. You can adapt those to the chevy motor for use with your stock gauges in the jeep.. I dunno if you're keeping stock gauges, but I did, and it works great!

    The fellow from Erocks Garage has some good video's on engine swaps. He is a very good fabrocater ,check him out.
