- No trip through the Upper Peninsula would be complete with out visiting Michigans largest spring! Kitch-iti-kipi is located in Palms Book State Park and is also referred to as Big Spring. This park has a very unique way of seeing these crystal clear waters and is absolutely worth a visit!

Thank you so much! The raft was such a neat experience and the color of the water was just WOW!
Did you go very early in the morning? Whenever we go we end up there in the afternoon and it’s a very long wait to get on the raft and the raft is packed like sardines…but we still love it! I first went there with my parents when I was 5 or 6 (I’m 46 now) and it felt like a magical, surreal place. I couldn’t go again until 2019 when I was 43. It was my husband’s very first time. We went again last fall. If you’re interested, I have two videos of Kitch-iti-kipi Springs on my channel. I subbed, too! Your channel looks great! 😊

We went on a Tuesday morning in May, right at 8am when the park opened. I can see why it would be busy, definitely a beautiful place! Thank you!

@@WiltonWanderlust it typically works out better for us getting places early for sure, when we can manage to do it 😂
@@NeverStopAdventuring We try to do that, too, but it’s a 2 1/2 hour drive for us, so we’d have to leave here at 5:30 AM to get there by 8, lol!
