I love that people have done so much work on the background of my family. I do think that it is hysterical that in 2022 we still look at the male line as the important way to know about our history. In my memory of my grandmother, she ruled the roost the town, and whatever world she wanted to be in. When I started looking at the Pelletier side, now THAT was definitely amazing. Just one note that I learned recently. The Pelletiers come from a part of France known as the "land of the tall trees". When Notre Dame burned, there was one place they could go to find the trees tall enough and lithe enough to bend to form the original arches. That was "The Land of the Tall Trees".
