    Thank you! Quite informative. I was looking at supreme drummer, but love the dynamics and overall variables on hand, not to mention "the Sound" of Native Instruments. I've made the purchase. You've helped a lot! Very enjoyable presentation.

      @ You got a high and low shelf in there: In the Mixer Tab. Select any channel (could be an individual close mic, kit mics, or even the master) look below, you have an effects chain including EQ. This is a great EQ. and the Band labeled HF and LF are High Shelf and Low Shelf respectively. If you want to get a hard high/low pass start on the Master Buss and experiment there. Make sure the "Bell" buttons are NOT lit. Turn the DB knob for the HF and the LF all the way down to the left and sweep your KHZ knob and/or Hz knob for those bands (the yellow and black) up and down and see how you like it.

    great video! also can you tell me what plugins did you use for the instruments at 2:11 or is it a sample?

    • @peterbufano
      @peterbufano  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @YoungBeats The accordion is a Beltuna. The rest of the instruments are some ( mostly really basic) samples. Drums = Abbey Rd. Bass = Komplete factory jazz bass. Piano = Komplete NY Grand. Guitar = Django, Whistling = Whistle Ensemble, Trumpet = Sample Modeling The Trumpet.

    At 4.20, you used the mode wheel to control the snare roll volume. How did you do that? Does it have to be configured through the DAW, or is it something in Kontakt? Thanks

    • @peterbufano
      @peterbufano  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It works that way by default. No set up needed.

    • @baldrust
      @baldrust 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@peterbufano Thanks for the response. Doesn’t work that way for me. Seems that the mod wheel is connected to velocity somehow. Is it your DAW? I submitted the question to Native Support w/ a reference to this video.

    • @peterbufano
      @peterbufano  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@baldrust It's the pitch bend wheel, not the mod wheel. (The mod wheel works with the high hat for open/closed.)

    Is it possible to use these sounds for triggering real drums? That would be insanely cool.

    • @peterbufano
      @peterbufano  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Of course these (like any virtual instrument) can be used as a sound source, triggered by MIDI signals. Is that what you meant by your question?
