The young Maasai woman is simply stunning. She radiates both inner and outer beauty. She is pretty, respectful, cultured and dignified at the same time. Compared to this guy, she has the class and virtue of an aristocrat. This young man is not worthy of her qualities. He seems immature, uncultured and without basic manners, which is not surprising considering where he comes from.
Don’t you think this man may have been both nervous, but at the same time comfortable being in a place where he can be his true self, enjoying his wife and the beautiful African surroundings?

Miraa is a drug. reason he wants to stay is because of Miraa ( khat ). this plant is cause you a addiction. later on it can affects brain,if you take too much Miraa, it wont let you to sleep. look at him he cannot stop eating that drugs

I have watched many interviews by Miss Reche. She is so respectful. I cannot imagine how Brian thought his behavior was respectful. I literally had to cover half of the screen in order to concentrate on the valuable contributions of Selina.

I felt the same way. Then I tried covering her to just see how he was behaving. Like a greedy and rude child. He yelled "pause" at her and challenged her on her number of siblings. She looked at him adoringly and he looked at his khat and the female interviewer. I feel very bad for her, knowing she has her choice of men and this was her choice. I hope he decides to focus on his family and improving his mental maturity.

I don’t normally comment on videos, but I just had to. This man is very disrespectful, and it will only get worse. I am African, and I’ve seen this type of westerner. They come to Africa, and they are treated with a respect that they have never experienced before, and they become so conceited and arrogant. It almost makes me sick. He will never love her like she deserves to be loved because he feels like he’s done a service to her country. You’re only able to love someone if you see them as a human being, then you will accept her culture and everything that goes with it. I could write a whole script about this kind of man, I know because I’ve been there. Good luck, beautiful queen I hope you realize that one day, and it’s not too late.

This young man obviously has a kind compassionate heart. He does God’s work. He’s very knowledgeable. It’s quite possible he has some hyperactivity which probably serves him well in his endeavours but is off putting in this context. May God bless their union.

I am Black British so table manners and etiquette is important as a three year old I ate with a knife and fork. They are both wonderful ❤️. I think they are lovely. It is just that my nerves 🙄 would be perved by his gluttonous noises whilst eating. ❤❤❤

Selina is my personal friend and id like to clarify that she is loved, respected and not looked down upon or dismissed by brian. The chewing part , that is just him being himself and if the interviewer didnt want him to chew, they could have agreed to. Also its just a kenyan thing to chill and vibe. He ate the ENTIRE interview. What's he eating that he's so addicted to? I could barely concentrate on what he was saying because of his incessant smacking into the microphone, fidgeting, and throwing of food over his shoulder. I was ANNOYED by this because it showed a basic disrespect for the audience and seemed to communicate very arrogantly that "I've done a lot of good things for Kenyans, I'm smart, I'm a fast talker, I'm the catch, and I don't need to exercise any amount of grace or good manners." It's unfortunate but I didn't enjoy this interview as much as I did the others. I'll have to watch the interview again later with only the sound on.

My father was a white anthropologist and my mother is a black South African from Soweto. We grew up in a world where there were many mixed culture, mixed race marriages with kiddos.
My home area in Kenya was known as part of the white Highlands in the colonial times, nearly everyone in one particular village there including 90 year old grannies are bi- racial and most intermarried each other too.
He has no class whatsoever. She deserves someone better.

At first I thought the husband's behaviour was rude but i soon realised he is an active listener. Perhaps he has some form of autistic behavior where he cant just sit still for an interview🤷. These days I dont take one look at behaviours and form a judgement about people. He seems to have a good heart...he is just a 'to the point' sort of person....this does not make him a bad person.

Selena couldn't have picked a more African non-African, it's not a bad think. Love when he mentioned the importance of learning the language and culture. Selena is beautiful, hope she continues to do more and really well in her advocacy, etc. Blessings and love to both of them.
I am watching from UK and I found it very rude and annoying. Even in UK it's very rude talk with mouth full and so rude to eat while eating not even while the person is being interviewed. All this nonsense he cannot do in his country America but he can do in some parts of Africa and get away with it.
