- Hey it's the end of 2023, and I have yet to show you around the space we started to build just over a year ago. All studios are works-in-progress, and ours is no exception. However, we have a very fun set up, and I hope it gives you some ideas for how you'd like to set up your space... and if you're not a musician, I hope you're intrigued by all the workings of a space like this.

Don’t know why this was my next play🎉 YT suggested to me. ❤
i'm grateful you watched! 🙌
This is a great setup! Very inspiring, thanks.
Its such a lovely studio you guys have there.
thank you! Always a work in progress and hope to get some things fixed up in the next few months! (guitar amps and echoplex)
464 was my first recording unit.
Fantastic space with amazing gear.
many many years of collecting between three people 🙏🏻
really cool studio
thank you 🙏 Eric, Collin and I spend a lot of time and effort on it, and it still needs work hahaha
sick setup
thank you! lots of love goes into it, and between the three of us there's probably 80-90 years of music-equipment-gathering 😱
Amazing setup.. luv your reference to ‘land’.. good stuff 👏
So much cool gear!! 🤘
yo thanks for checking it out 🙏🏻🤘🏻
dope studio
Very nice man. I enjoyed the tour! I stumbled upon your channel watching old gear demos. I still have my working 424. I've got almost 100 songs on master cassettes I have to preserve that my buddies and I did in my 1 bedroom apt. back in the 90s. Good times. 😂
oh man you gotta archive those! i’m trying to figure out a way to have people like you share music like that: recorded on cassettes in the 90s
thanks for watching 🤘🏻
@@MadeOnTape That's a great idea. There were about 5 of us that got together almost every weekend from 92'-2000. Best times of my life!!! We called ourselves The Bunny Carousel. 🐰 First decent tune was Poodle Woman, a song about chicks with BIG hair. 😂
@@MadeOnTape From watching your videos, I have a feeling you're somewhere in Michigan. I live about 20 minutes south of Detroit. 🤟
Poodle Woman🙌 I'm originally from the Detroit area, but I have lived in NYC for almost 10 years. Still very connected and have family and friends back there... GO LIONS 🦁😂 @@Haze763
This is so awesome! Thanks I'm a studio tour nerd. 😅
thanks for checking it out!
Excellent video, as always. It definitely have me some ideas. And the TX81Z is a joy to program. Such a user-friendly interface.

i've only seen Eric use it and have yet to get my hands on it very much myself! Fun sounds for sure
Admit it, we are all here because we bought a TR505 accidentally but found out we could not use it :)
this take 🤣🙌🏻
Hey, madeontape, I'm looking to get a stereo reel to reel to send my finished mixes into. Any recommendations, I don't want break the bank, i.e. I'm poor.
How is it that when you are reamping your voice it doesn't (acoplarse, I don't know the word in english) make piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. By the way I love your channel, I love your stuff, I bought a portatwo because of your influence
The clickbait was (possibly unintentionally) strong in this one
😂 it was unintentional in the design, but when i noticed it, i thought “yeah let’s leave that” 😂
@@MadeOnTape Well technically it's not an incorrect description 😅
I’m curious about your microphone, what is it?
yo! that’s an electro voice 635a. It’s an omni dynamic and i love it 🙌🏻
much less proximity effect
Cool 😎
