Thanks so much for the explicit instructions on how to embellish clothing items with crochet. The things you did to the t-shirt and skirt are just gorgeous and really bring them to life. Love it!! You are so creative.
I would love to see a tutorial or ideas for other stitches to add to clothes! I have a little black dress that is a little shorter than what I'm comfortable with, and I think adding a little crochet to the bottom would make it not only a little more 'safe' feeling for me, but adorable as well
Thank you so much for taking the time to show us how you personalise your clothes. I can't wait to give this a try on my shirts. And yes, yes, yes to trying other stitches.
That's really cool! Another technique for making a lace to attach to clothing is tatting! I think tatted lace is a little more hardy than crochet. There's also bobbin lace, and it's really cool in that you could feasibly make spooky motifs like skulls right? And then use the patterned lace as insertions. I hope you think about bobbin lace because I think it could really make something that's your vibe!
Personally, then I plan to add crochet, I do a blanket stitch over the edge and then use the bars former by that to crochet into, but this little hole cutter roller is pretty dope
Pretty good. When I incorporate crocheting into clothes I take some length of yarn and do some blanket stitching on the edges to start the base. and I did make some arm sleeves with a meshed backing you can put on like a shirt so no sag on the arms. Just need to refine the shoulder back ends a little for better fit.
I have a set of crochet hooks called Edgit, steel hook, super pointy to punch thru fabric. I also like to cut off the neck edge, about an inch or 3, and crochet around it. Sometimes I cut 1-4” off the sleeves. You can end the sleeve with a row of border shells.
I love adding some crochet to all my clothes (especially if something doesn't fit quite right so I tweak it a bit with crochet to customize it!) I would definitely love to see you share some more styles with your own crochet add-ons, your style is always so interesting and unique!
I’m so inspired now! I recently got a thigh tattoo, but my style is more masculine, so whenever I wear shorts it’s pretty much completely covered up. I want to have it visible, especially with the weather being so hot recently. I think I’ll take some short shorts and add a kind of “mesh”-type extension so that I still feel comfortable, but the tattoo will also be visible!
omg yes! I've always wanted to add stuff to clothes, never thought of a rotary tool! Definitely doing the mesh stitch but also might do this spade stitch edging that looks really cool, and maybe like, pom poms or shells or something. Possibilities are endless!
Thank you so much for taking the time to make this tutorial!!! I love these little modifications you make on just plain clothing items, it makes them so much more special! I can't wait to do this to some of my tees!! 💚🖤💚🖤
I have a couple of sweatshirts from Curbside Clothing that are basically a hoodie that has had the hood cut off and a lot of the top of the shirt with it. This makes the neck HUGE. Been trying to think of a crochet to make the hole smaller. I’m too old for the off the shoulder droop😂
I have been admiring your crochet enhanced clothes and was hoping you’d do a video on it! 🖤 Thank you!!
No problem! Thanks for watching🎃
Now no piece of fabric is safe. I am looking at every clothe item, pillow, throw, etc. I am obsessed. ❤😂
A PERFORATED ROTARY BLADE??!!
This is a game changer!
I didn't know they had those. I need one now
@bperez9066 I use mine all the time🎃

I love it, and it looks super cute on you. It's also a great idea for adding a little length to too short sleeves.

😅 crap. I already have more projects than I planned on, but now I'm going thrifting and adding hoods and lacy sleeves on T shirts. Thank you!
Personally, then I plan to add crochet, I do a blanket stitch over the edge and then use the bars former by that to crochet into, but this little hole cutter roller is pretty dope
this is such a cool idea. definitely want to give it a try!
Heck yeah give it a go 🎃
The perforated rotary tool is genius! I've just been stabbing through the seams with my yarn needle, which works, but it takes forever!
I didn’t know that rotary hole punch was a thing. I’m stoked.
It's seriously handy for these types of projects 🎃
Alt knot is up there is one of the best spooky horror channels on TH-cam

Omg a crochet spider webbed pattern on the skirt would be ah-mazing!!!

Oh my gosh, I just noticed your shrunken head pincushion 😂
I love it
It's the best! The pattern is by MadebyJody666 and there are so many other spooky designs from this designer too
Heck yes more stitches!!!! I love this!!!!
With the sleeves you could turn the cuffs up as well. Two looks!
I think I would use a lightweight cotton thread for this type of application.
I have been admiring your crochet enhanced clothes and was hoping you’d do a video on it! Thank you!!
You have changed my life and inspired me to make new clothing's I want to try this too!
Heyyy Kayla we have matching Ghostface shirts now :D Appreciate your crafty company, like always

Cute outfit! I saw you at Target on Monday when I was grocery shopping w/ my husband.
I am trying this now and it is looking great! It adds so much to these graphic tees!
My project while watching your video today is spinning some wool on my drop spindle that I will use to knit a shawl.
That Goosebumps shirt!! It’s amazing!! 😍🖤 What a find!
This is so cute! I kind of want to try like a crochet "flutter" sleeve on a tshirt.
Love how the outfit came out. I need to do this to my tees, I hate how short the sleeves are…lol.
The V stitch would be a really awesome alternative to the mesh stitch and give it that same vibe but slightly different texture
Great idea for another stitch! It would add some interesting texture to the sleeves as well
@@AltKnots I think it would look awesome! Can't wait to see if you try it out!
You have some of the best tshirts!
I've been really lucky with thrifting lately! 🎃
Ah! 😍 🏆🫶 Looks so good! Thank you so very much for sharing how to make the holes and what you use and how to crochet onto the sleeves.
Awesome video!! 🎃 & I dig your channel too 🎃🎃🎃🧶🧶🧶🦇🦇🦇🦇

I love the idea of extending the sleeves though. I love my tees but i hate how short the sleeves are designed. Def going to be doing this
THis would be a great way to add some length to your favorite tees too!
I have a skirt thats just a LITTLE too short, I think this is going to solve the problem! 🎃
I think a picot stitch would be cute. Or a web stitch.
That outfit is AMAZING!
