This tune reminds me of laid back white horse and feeling good pressure drop.. and I'm racking my brain trying to figure out what other top tunes are similar. All great though.
In the beginning there was Jack...and Jack had a groove...and while one day viciously throwing down on his box Jack boned and declared "Let There Be HOUSE" & House-Music was born!!
I must agree with the uploaders comments on this track. Minimalistic as it gets, but when the 3 note hook kicks in, I want it to go on forever. I feel it was ahead of its time and Its simplicity hasn't been matched yet.
@ruffbizness Thanks for the thanks. A simple yet effective track that somehow managed to affect me on an emotional level when I first heard this back in 1986. This one brings back a lot of memories of me, a foolish teenager, in love with a girl I worked alongside at Owen Owen department store, Uxbrigde. I remember writing a poem to her with this as the melody. Now that's embarrassing.

Very popular in Cape Town, South Africa, in the mid 80's.
Agreed DJ Superfly made it a hit at Le Club

Yes this Instrumental version is fantastic :)
Same I like it better without the vocals. The vocal is classic but this bring the whole song’s minimalism to the table.
Seems now I know, why K Alex Shelby/Club M.C.M. choose the title "It's Me" in 1991 :-)
