Hi, Thank you for such a great review. I understand the super-massive foil Glide 1595cm2 is great for downwind paddling, but if you can only pick one foil for winging in 6-12 Knt .... would you pick the same or the Glide 1300 cm3 ?
    thanks for the advise 🙂🙂🙂

Depending on your body weight, wing size and board shape. Yes the glide is best for super light wind.
If you’re heavy. Don’t have a dedicated board and have small wings you need as big as you can.
For me. 6-12 knots the 1305 is probably best. But this wind strength was less and I changed to the wider, less efficient board. So the 1595 was right.

thanks @@worthingwatersports . I'm 93 Kg, no interest in paddle, just winging with a Unit 6.0m2 and a new DW I will buy.

@@franpinyol8500 Did you finally pick the 1305 Glide?

Hi@@lewiss66 a local shop borrowed me a Duotone Glide 1305 which I've used just once (6m2, 95 L board in strong winds). Lift was supper easy (maybe because of the strong wind) and glide is amazing...it makes you feel you are good surfing waves. It makes jibes super easy.... but it lacks maneubrability, and tight turns. Maybe I'll buy it for light winds once I'll test it.

heya, in this video i was on 640 but i still need to do some testing.
it depends on if you want comfort or carving ability
      short - more manoeuvrable
longer - more power and more stable

Heya. Have a look at the bottom of our website for recommendations.
      I think 7’2 or 7’8
      worthingwatersports.com/products/duotone-downwinder-sls-2024?_pos=1&_psq=Downwind&_ss=e&_v=1.0
I would probably recommend if it’s your first board you go big
