I think Little Miss Wren was crunching on a few sand grains with no yucky face. All 4 children's faces lit up when they saw the ocean. What a moment! I knew it was going to be epic. Darik, the vignette at the end with Gemma was very special. I love to watch her face change as she recognizes herself and is happy with her unicorn.
Looks like fun was had by all! Way to go Mama for not repeatedly telling Gemma to go up closer to the princesses. So many push the children closer and they get so scared.

Cara and Darik, I have suffered from unrelenting chronic pain 24/7 for almost 9 years from a spine/spinal cord injury. I am also a single mom. My daughter, who is the light of my life and of whom I am so very proud, moved away a week ago today to go to school in Vancouver, BC. This past few days have been extraordinarily rough on me pain wise. I needed this video. I needed to see the sweet babies and Gemmers as well as you two enjoying them. This video made me smile, when it's been tough to find things to smile about. It's made me laugh, when I really don't see much humour in things these last few days. And it's made me think about all of the times when my little (19yo) girl was the babies' age and appreciate those memories so very much. This injury may have taken away my mobility, and at times my spirit is a bit broken. This injury has not, however, taken away my ability to appreciate the joy in other people's lives and remember the times when I was 'there'. Thanks for posting this video.
