- We bought the new Transition Spire and Patrol! This was our first full weekend at a legit park riding them so just first impressions for now but man do these mountain bikes rip! That 12 year old ripper who teleported in front of you reminds me of a time I was skiing in Park city. I was feeling good gettin' it down a slope and then get passed by a little kid skiing fakie. Was one hell of a moment lol. Awesome video though!

At least I guessed the Patrol. I have last year’s 27.5 model. I love mine, very stable in the air, around corners. I am surprised how good of a climber it is.

Did you get one?
No. Unfortunately the XXL spire is the same size as my S5 enduro! All I did was put a 50mm stem, 35 rise bar and a 210 Oneup dropper. But I swear when I test rode the spire it felt bigger. I guess I’ll just have to wait for specialized to come out with a S6 enduro.

do these two bikes share a front triangle? Is it possible to swap a rear spire triangle onto a patrol?
I'd like to comment that on the Patrol, when it gets steep, the rear end just locks up, its like riding a hardtail!
Hmmmm, I haven’t noticed this. It could be something you are noticing under braking. All bikes lose performance under heavy braking. Is this what you mean?
@@Blake_Cherubini that was he meant for sure but yeah if you take a bike with super low anti-rise, rear braking will not affect the suspension as a bike with high anti-rise. I had knollys with low anti rise and was really nice when braking in gnarly trails but that also means that the rear end will go up so braking on steep trails is not super fun. Lol high antirise will compress the suspension when braking so go down but will locked up the suspension also. That is typical of singlepivot bike. I had both kind of bike and would really like for my next one to be right in the middle, around 100% of anti-rise.
I’m currently on a 21’ enduro and love it. Frame is currently at shop for warranty claim. I was looking at building a spire because it got good reviews on pinkbike. How does the Spire rear suspension handle over rough chunky terrain? It sounds like the Spire is more playful/poppy compared to the enduro? I was also looking at build the new Norco Range high pivot

Definitely some cable noise. Specialized internal routing is 👑

The last year it seems that tons of hotels are saying they are full even when they aren't...is there some conspiracy that I'm missing? Hotels run at high capacity to make money, so how are they just turning people down when they aren't busy at all? So strange.
