Cross-over dishes are great! No weird stuff like pineapple and green peppers in the sauce? Great quick meal done in cast iron. Thank you for the shout-out for Dee and Cast Iron Wednesday. Great looking meal and great video, Helga
LOL, I do enjoy pineapple and peppers, but this is an easy dish for me to make because I always have apple cider vinegar on hand. I don't usually have pineapple on hand, plus, the vinegar is a nice tenderizer!
Looks WONDERFUL Helga! I need quick meals these days, I've been spending my time making lots of MITTENS for my vendor table at the Homesteaders of America conference. Keep those yummy recipes coming! With love from BanDana Gramma
HAHA, I'll keep giving you quick meal ideas so you can keep making those fabulous mittens! I'd love to attend the conference one day, it looks like so much fun!

Thank you! I try to cook ahead for my 12 hr dayshsifts and cook on days off and my 12 hr night shifts. Mike works and is on the go too, so he does when he has time but he doesn't have much either! But he IS a good cook!
hi Helga! Wow they sound really easy and really delicious. Just so happens I have pork chops thawing out as we speak. Going to have to try this recipe. Hope you are doing well.
It was just handier as I always have apple cider vinegar and not pineapple juice. Also, not quite as sweet this way, and the vinegar helps tenderize it! Thanks, Gaz!
I wish for smell-a-vision too!!! Great recipe for a weeknight! Dee over at Native Tearz is awesome. Thanks, Helga!
You know it's good when Helga loads up another bite to eat, before she is even done with her first bite.

Thanks, Paivi! Apple cider vinegar brings a lot of good flavor to many dishes and in this case, also tenderizes the meat.
