FANTASTIC!!!!! MMMMMM. You've done it again. So pretty too. I've never tried with sausage. Love having different options. Only problem I'm not your family or close neighbor. Very easy love it. It is a complete meal. Meat, carb, veggie, dairy. Just need some baked apples with this meal. Thank you so very much my dear creative culinary wow. Tamson.
You have to love crossover CIW/WNW videos. Great idea to cut the peppers in half. They probably cook a lot better as well. I will have to try this the next time I get a deal on peppers. Thank you for the Cast Iron Wednesday video, Helga
Lol, yes, around here many are crossovers since I cook with my cast daily, lol! Yes, the peppers do cook more evenly and faster this way! Thanks for watching!
Thanks, Bill! You've been cooking up a storm! Like I told Chris, everyone has been making peppers! Great minds think alike? Or just the cooler weather!
Oh, Alli, that's so exciting! Make sure you season it well first, watch DIY Dark Matter's vid on doing that. I do it even with preseasoned ones as it will increase the nonstick qualities better. So, what's your first dish going to be?
Here is my game playlist th-cam.com/play/PLVXyomjak7u1BizXSExw-xnYltZZbg7OF.html The moose and venison dishes are interchangeable. Also, my mushroom gravy vid is good with venison steaks!
LOL That first peeper you held up I thought had a sticker on it. I have been battling with stickers for a week with all the apple I bought so I guess I have stickers on the brain. God no! Not another sticker! 🤣 I love the idea of half sliced peepers. A more appropriate serving size.
LOL, no stcikers, these are grown right down the road from me! Yes, I got sick of the huge big peppers and would be cutting them in half so decided to do that right off and they cook faster and more evenly!
Delicious Helga! I have to make some of my own soon I love stuffed peppers! Hope you had a great week! As always I love your cooking and wish I could eat it! Lol ----Tressa Daigle
Awesome, I always used green bell peppers and hamburger ..I am going to have to try that. Man, they sure look good :) thank you, and By the way love the music :)
My mom used to cover hers with ketchup before putting in the oven... I never really cared for that too much Yours looked great!!!!! I bet the cheese adds a lot... I'll try that next time!!!
Oh yeah, plain ketchup would be bland. Lots of sauce and cheese helps make this yummy! Everyone had peppers on the brain. I made this almost 3 weeks ago, was gonna put it out last Wednesday and saw Bill put peppers out. LOL. So I waited and yet more folks out more peppers out, LOL! But everyone made them differently!
Helga's Pennsylvania Cooking --- Sounds like a future Collaboration video idea. Everybody cook the same "base" meal and we can all see how each other does it! 👍🏻
I really want to use chicken because we all like the taste of ground chicken better than ground beef and my family won’t touch sausage sadly :(. That’s why I’m asking what kind of fat component would you add to this recipe? I was gonna follow everything like you said but instead of sausage, ground chicken instead
@@casitoll7170 You can try several things depending on taste. A bit of cottage cheese or yogurt, soaked breadcrumbs in broth, egg, grated zucchini or carrots. My pick is full fat greek yogurt.
Ok and when you say full fat, you mean plain of course haha. And about how much? Is it more or less eyeing it til it looks incorporated type thing? Or is there a particular measurement to use?
Thank you so much for that tip about cutting the peppers in half. Although I've made stuffed peppers before, I've never used sausage only ground beef. Another great tip! If you don't have canned sauce. Would Prego meat flavored sauce work? Can you tell I've got a yen to make some lol? You're so kind to share your great meals and dishes with us and they always look so tempting that if I had all the ingredients at the time I'd make it as soon as I finished watching your videos. Hope you have a good day!
+Helga's Pennsylvania Cooking I've used Prego since it came out and think it can't be beat for pasta sauce because I tried so many before Prego and nothing seemed to compare in taste after my first taste of Prego.
Hi Helga - Yumm, great idea cutting the peppers in half. They cook quicker that way too. Just a suggestion, the music overrides your voice in some instances. Maybe a little lower volume would help. We like to hear you!
Hello. Those peppers looked huge. Did them come from your garden ? This totally new way for me to cook stuffed peppers and so easy ! They looked very yummy 👍👌😋

Saffron rice and Jasmine rice are both delicious! If you are worried about carbs, use riced cauliflower! Thanks for watching, John!
Very simple I must try them, any idea when your going to have a deer recipe? 🤗

can you substitute ground chicken for the sausage? Looks amazing! Can't wait to make this!
Yes you can! But, I would add some kind of fat component or it will be dry.
What would you recommend?

Prego is fine and that's Mike's favorite store bought. Mom like Newman's Own. I think Prego is my favorite too!

Thanks, Paivi! No, I already used up the peppers from my garden but these are local and grown right up the road!

LOL, thanks Dee!
I am not much on stuffed peppers but this looks really good. I would try it. Maybe my taste buds have changed.
They do change as we get older! Thanks for watching!
