      @shevik9790 2 ปีที่แล้ว +24

@@paraszt4269 not necessarily. It could cause aggressive behaviors if he doesn't like it. Put it this way if you were in your home just trying to mind your own business, doing your thing and then some kid and their parent comes over, smushes their faces to your window and started banging on it. You were just happily sitting there and now this. Would you be annoyed?
Edit: If you go to a Zoo you are there to observe them. The animals aren't there for peoples entertainment. If an animal is interested they'll come over to you. If they're not interested they won't. No amount of banging is going to get their attention to do what you want.

      No veterinarian in the zoo

No great Apes like banging on windows as it may be a taken as a sign of aggression, anger or a threat to them. They like respect, not being mocked or teased.
I know you had good intensions, but Bonobos are very playful and affectionate souls. The next time maybe try something to stimulate and entertain him because they are very intelligent We must always have Empathy as how we we take it if someone was banging on our house window? Scary, huh? Be kind and playful. They are sensitive and beautiful souls that love having contact with us but we must show respect and be gentler with their feelings. ;-)

They've figured out the keys to world peace: Matriarchy & tons of Sapphic sex. Been reading everything that I could get my hands on about them since the '90s. For whatever reason, evolutionarily, they threw out the rule book re expected primate behavior. AFAIC, they are the most interesting of the hominids.

that's funny because bonobos are just as aggressive as chimpanzees and both chimpanzees and bonobos are 100 times more violent than humans, with female bonobos being much more aggressive than their chimp counterparts, they did not throw out the rulebook, they are one of only a handful of mammals that can have sex all the time which literally changed their behavior as well as ours.

@@fergarising1972 Bless your heart! You literally don't know what in the hell you're talking about. True, they take no sh*t from males, which is why they have such a peaceful society. The murder, rape & infanticide that are all too common in chimp & human cultures are virtually nonexistent in bonobo culture bc the females drive aggressive males out of the troupe, sometimes missing digits & their 🍆s. But they don't kill them. Chimps, OTOH, are homicidal. In any event, alpha bonobo males don't get to breed w/ bonobo females, & as a result, ADRA2C, which limits primate aggression, is fully expressed in bonobos, whereas in humans & chimps it is not, which is one of the reasons that male chimps & men are so prone to violence. www.earth.com/news/humans-chimps-war-genetics/
You need to read a lot more, starting w/ these oldies but goodies:
      en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demonic_Males
      www.ucpress.edu/book/9780520216518/bonobo
Moreover, there is this this recent discovery: www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0018506X19301503
They tolerate males, they don't bond w/ them. To my mind, they are akin to lesbian sex workers who have transactional sex as means to an end. But the whole damn culture revolves around the rampant Sapphic sex & their alliances w/ each other that keep males & their propensity for violence in complete check. If only women had the IQs of female bonobos. But alas, we are much more like female common chimps.

@@elizabethmorgan293 do you know when I start listening to people, when they don't immediately gaslight me, and insult me. So, when you immediately gaslit me with the "bless your heart" i stopped reading and or listening to you. So, you can go sit with your delusions that bonobo culture is far less violent than humans somewhere far far away from me. I know for a fact that none of your family members have smacked you around lately nearly as much as a bonobo would smack you around. SO have a nice day.

So it isn't violence if it is female bonobo against male bonobos, got it. You are clearly a misandrous individual and i will leave you with your lunacy.

so ripping off a male's eggplant it not violence either great, glad that mutilation is a peaceful behavior as long as females are doing it, do you not read what you write? I said they were far more aggressive than humans are which is very true. And that bonobo females are much more aggressive than chimp females which is also true. And that CHIMPS and BONOBOS are 100 times more aggressive than humans. Also very true. You ignore the aggression that you find acceptable because it is against males who are automatically evil and then ignore the fact that the aggression is what leads to peace. Great, just great.

Go meet those other 3 guys that made the same comment at the coffee shop.
While you are all drinking coffee you could bring up the subject of Van Gogh and
when one of them says his name you can say, no, it is pronounced Van Goackakkgoth and if they do
make that hacking sound when they say it then correct them and do it do it louder and longer and tell them that you
just demonstrated exactly how it is supposed to sound and then say Goackkth the same way the other person said it and
kind of chuckle to yourself and shake your head no.
