You can do this with waffles as well, I've done the same exact thing with chocolate cake batter in a waffle maker and they were bomb! I tried this but I actually cooked it on my 37 in propane griddle. Came out awesome. Instead of the mix you used, I used the super mooist strawberry mix. Maybe on the next attempt, I'll throw in M&Ms or chocolate chips
The way you do this is to add oil or melted butter to the mix make it a thinner consistency and you'll be good on medium low heat works with any cake mix
The sugar definitely contributes! I make pancakes with sugar and cream cheese mixed in and they turn out absolutely amazing but because the sugar the pancakes burn alot easier and so I have to flip earlier than I would with the normal mix without the sugar and cream cheese! The cream cheese doesnt burn easy btw just the sugar! The cream cheese spots stay white when their in direct heat and become super sweet and delicious!
@@GoldenBoy-et6of I made something similar too. But usually I try not to put too much grease or butter. It worked fine. But to be fair I’d play with the pans temp. I’d get it hot initially for a nice sear and then lower the heat. Wait for the edges then flip

The 3 eggs are making it fluff up. One egg will make it more like a pan cake.

There is a legit way to do this. You need oil, eggs, extra flour, and water or milk. You can find a recipe online.
the sugars not burning the oil ur spraying on the pan is burning. try rubbing some butter using paper towel. leave it greasy but not drenched.
