Как по мне, эта "игра 2013 года" во всём лучше этой чуть ли не китайской копии новой колды. В плане графона у частей серии Battlefield до недавних пор с этим уж точно проблем не было, в пример можно взять пятёрку и первую часть, там графон был, как по мне, на высочайшем уровне. Смотря на некоторые карты BF2042, тон в целом, и сравнивая всё это с тем же из BF4, у меня создаётся впечатление, что по лору апокалипсис наступил именно что в BF4, а не иначе.

Also BF3 is a far superior game, the maps in 4 are some of the worst of the whole franchise.
@@melcorchancla9431 I disagree with all of your statements. First off, what’s wrong with the M60 reload animation in BF4? I think it’s smooth, decently timed, and more realistic than the M60 reload animation in BF3.
And no, I highly doubt every animator in the world is going to tell me the reload animation is terrible.
I also think BF4 has many enjoyable maps, especially in the expansion maps.
Although you claim BF3 to be a “superior game” to BF4, I need you to back up your subjective claim with evidence to convince me otherwise.

@@lemoncandy2707 I can give a few reasons that I personally like 3 more than 4. Although not too different I like the TTK in 3 more than 4. Something I dislike about 4 is I think they went too crazy with all class weapons and blurred the lines between classes a little too much, not as bad as 2042 in that regard but still. Map wise a lot of BF4's vanilla maps can be very vehicle dominant (Golmud, Lancang, Rouge, hell even Paracel and Shanghai at times) as a lot of BF4's maps are big but lack cover. BF3 can have that same problem but never got to the point of BF4 where every time I seem to play 4 I find myself having to only play engineer.

When it comes to animation only the base 2042 weapons and those that also re-used the base animation looked good. And yeah BF4 definitely won entirely when it comes to sound design.
Edit: Most sniper looked great in 2042 tho. Probably because they re-used one of my favorites animation in the game, the sws-10.

In fact, all the animations on the sniper rifles are wrong in 2042. In real life most of the bolt action sniper rifles will not allow you to close the bolt on an empty magazine.
Most of you guys don't know battlefield 4 was unfinish and disappointment but after 3 years updates become the best battlefield game this gonna happen with 2042

2042's animations are so awful. It looks like the soldier is having a seizure, spazzing and jittering constantly.
I just don’t know how they made all the guns seem so large in 2042. Like the spas in BF4 looks like a good side and like the character can actually hold it but then you look at 2042 and it looks like the character is struggling to hold onto it
I think this has to do with two factors. The first is that 2042/Portal tends to put its guns closer to the screen than 4. This makes them seem bigger. The second is that 2042 uses a lot more movement, making the guns feel much less contained.

As much as I dislike 2042, I will say that I do like the detail of the soldier taking their finger off the trigger when they stop firing.
Yes but In real life, soldiers are trained to take out their fingers anytime they are are not aiming and ready to fire on the target so the finger should be off much quicker than showed in those animations.

Sounds: BF4 ftw. They sound a lot more natural and realistic. 2042 has good sounds but some are considered bland to me.
Animations: BF4 again, i prefer floaty looking animations rather than having completely bad ones. (I know 2042's animations are made by a seperate studio but still)
Models: BF4 yet again.. I don't have to tell you why
Verdict: This will probably be my last comment ever as i'm dealing with life issues. But overall BF4 proves to be the superior one as usual. Tons of wacky memories here, i'll never forget it. Thank you all!
Update: Right now i'm doing pretty fine and thanks for all the people that cared for me. I'll still be around but my access to the internet is now kinda limited.

Bf4 animations are nostalgic.
Though i will never be able to ignore one thing that always bothers me with bf4 pistol reloads.

They also don't use the fire selectors. It's weird when you hear the selector click but the character doesn't even touch it and the selector doesn't change position either.
They should recruit you, MTB. You have become pretty good over the years. I'm sure that your animations would end up better than those in BF2042 Portal.

Reloading animation in BF2042 : Hand Tremor.
Battlefield 4 animations are serviceable nothing crazy, bf2042 have more diversity in the movement of the anims, less recycles I'd say. We can say that some aspects of the newer games are ''better'' without saying the whole thing is guys. Animators have nothing to do with the rest of the game.

Not gonna lie, I was pretty disappointed with the 93R in BF4. Not only did it perform worse in my opinion (it was literally my go-to sidearm in BF3, the second being the G18), but it also had a ridiculously incorrect model. Which is also weird, considering BF3 got it right. Despite being based on the Beretta 92, it still had a reinforced slide, a longer trigger guard so one can stick their thumb in there to help control recoil and an extended magazine. In BF4, it literally looked like a M9 with an extra metal prong in the front. Not to mention, the soldier does not use the metal grip on the front. BF2042 got it right too, though the game is a complete mess.

Man, BF4 is my fav battlefield AND I’m an Xbox player, meaning I’ve only ever played the game in 720p with the horrible anti aliasing it has. I’ve always been so jealous of the 4K version PC’s have had this whole time. If I had the PC version I’d still be playing that game over any other battlefield.

It's funny how the BSV-M of 2042 is better quality-wise than the Portal AS Val. Shame to the animator/s who did the Portal weapons dirty. They could have just reused the animations of BF3/BF4/BF1/BFV.
Oh and the M1 Garand in Portal is the most humiliating ever, it's like a middle finger to the Magnum Opus of the M1 Garand reload from BFV.

@@iMost067 indeed. Fun fact the M1 Garand animator Oskar Wetterbrandt actually did a lot of the 2042 base weapons as well as the Ghostmaker crossbow, and even nailed trigger discipline for every weapon. He left the company already but he left a great legacy in BF animations.

BF4 animations look robotic at times while BF2042 has some chracter. Sound design goes to BF4 almost every gun has a unique sound profile.

I think it depends the gun, for example, pistols and the M16 look better in 2042, but most of the other guns looks better in bf4, shotguns for example

Who would have guessed that we see a day where Call of Duty annihilates Battlefield for realistic gunplay. Even cold war had better animations than 2042.
Didnt fixed SPAS-12 reload (you need to hold button on the side to be abble to reload it.)
Also SPAS-12 is semiautomatic shotgun and pump is used when rounds severely lowered in charge, so its undergassed can its not enough to gas operate.
Also SPAS-12 being any valuable in a year 2042 is a meme, its a heavy overmanufactured piece of history that is already outdated

2042 sound design was poor compared to 4. BC2 had the best sound design, imo. Wonder how its possible that dice team's ears didnt work properly on developing this.
Funny how the pre-alpha's Sound Design was way better and funny enough If you Go to settings to Sound you can now hear a Preview with gunshots that are way better and punchier than the ones in the actual game

it definitely came from the mw19 influences (details that no one other than gresy gun nerds would give a shit, and realism in cod game) to fps games

A bit of a mixed bag in 2042, the models and details on the animations are much better but they lack any style that bf4 has. You can clearly tell that some higher up told the animation team to "copy MW2019". It honestly feels like they're unfinished/unpolished considering how fucking stiff they are compared to bf4.

Definitely think some sound design and the way some pf the weapons are animated in BF4 look better, but overall I do think that the revamped weapons look better overall. But they really need to step it up in the future, reloads have always kinda looked stiff in Battlefield, and other games are starting to pull them off way better. Hope they actually get time to develop the next time so the devs efforts can shine

There are three things that I think Battlefield loses against Call of Duty, is the lack of weapons, maps, and realistic animations.

Honestly I don’t like the “clickyness” for the reload and shoot animations for call of duty (new ones) and 2042. To me they sound a bit annoying. Battlefield 4 still looks really good. Only one that really is better than 4 is Battlefield 1. 2042, eh.

Rounds that aren't fired yet are still heavy so when it's unloading time, the gravity will do the work and the fallen rounds are saved for later...

What gravity...Unfired shots fall easier because they didnt expand. Fired rounds expand that means they struggle more to come off the chambers. Fake gun expert.

O BF 2042 tem uma boa animação de armas, até quem não gosta tem que concorda mas os sons das armas o BF 4 é mais realista doque o 2042. No BF 2042 as armas não tem um som realista e sinceramente não parecem muito reais mas o BF 4 os sons e as armas parecem reais mais temos que admitir que no quesito animação de recagar da Arma do 2042 é melhor doque a do BF4

I think I've worn my disdain for 2042's animations out by now. Suffice it to say that despite its robotic nature and horrible overused default pistol animation, Battlefield 4 somehow manages to show more weapon detail, be more readable, and be more unique than 2042. That's sad.
