Rise revolutionized combat for the franchise. Im really hoping a lot of the skills and moves are brought back for Wilds

Yeah, and I hope they made a mixed with fast combat with mh world environment when you need understand how the map and local works, in rise the maps its just a arena

too flashy and quick for me, it makes it look like ur on par with the monster while fighting it which is a feeling monster hunter shouldnt have imo, i hope MHWilds takes most of the slow and methodical type combat from MHWorld rather than a more flashy and quick combat such as MHR, maybe adding features such as skill costumization from rise would be a good thing too but the combat itself NEEDS to be MHWorld based.

Agreed. Keeping switch skills would be awesome though, there were some great additions in Risebreak I'd love to still have in Wilds.

DB needs to be a little quick and flashy moves in my opinion but other weapons like great sword need to be keep them more slow and and focused on positioning and patient in combat

@@DiegoDude i mean i have no problem with dual blades being a fast weapon, in monster hunter world they are fast but also fit perfectly in the game, the problem to me is the wirebugs. something about ppl just flying thru the air with over the top and flashy moves just doesnt resonate well with the monster hunter franchise.

@@Tororobas@Tororobas rise ain't even the first time monhun has had flashy moves tho, some of these attacks are just the valor style from generations with wirebugs

Is this in Monster Hunter World?? Also, how do you even do half that with those?? I could never figure them out. I generally stick with either my switch axe or heavy bow gun. I've tried every weapon, and some seem interesting, but I can't grasp how to make them efficient. I know it takes a lot of practice, but most don't feel right with my preferred playstyle. The dual blades interest me, and I like them, I just can't get the most out of them.

This is MH Rise, in World I like switch axe and charge blade more than dual blade but in rise DB is much cooler for me, and is kind of simple to play with, in MH Rise base game is good but on Sunbreak expansion is crazy for me

Nah i hate the wire-bug. And it doesn’t feel like monster hunter, it feels like some gimmicky anime game. Have it like in World or generations ultimate but with new moves.

@@voltaicburst4279switch skills in general were not what made the combat this fast paced, the wirebugs were. I'm very much in favor of keeping the switch skills to make smaller changes in tje moveset in wilds.

Saying the wire bug is like a gimmicky anime game then referencing generations ultimate as a return to form is absolutely rich lmfao
