i have both hoping i could pair them wirelessly but sadly you cant. I got the 100 first and battery lasted about 4 hrs max in high volume mostly, it was a mexican bbq so yea.. i got the 300 and hoping the battery lasts way longer

I had a jbl boombox 1 for two years. I upgraded the boombox to partybox 100 but the next day I went back and now I have a couple of days in partybox 300. Definitely the best speaker. Bass and trebble are the perfect balance especially for maximum volume. Bass not too loud but just perfect. Jbl partybox 100 too much trebble. It's easy to hear in life.

Hi there! Could you maybe install a dB app and do some outdoor SPL measurements? I 'ld like to see what the difference in SPL is between the PB100 and PB300. Maybe the difference may not seem that big, but for instance, +3dB difference means that the louder one reaches twice as far. Another interesting point is to compare the maximum batterylife of these two speakers, played at maximum SPL and/or at the same SPL. I wonder if the PB100 is capable of playing a party of 4hrs at high volume. I doubt it.. Thank you!

I have said it before, and I will say it again. The JBL Partybox 100 is JBL's best Bluetooth speaker, it is the most complete by far. I even sold my JBL Boombox when I got my pb100. It sounds nicer
They both actually sound very similar outdoors. If you use the speaker 6 hours daily at 50% volume, the Partybox 100 will do just fine. Note that the Partybox 310 is already out
I don't know which model I should choose because the PB300 has 120 W RMS and should be more powerful than PB100 which is lower model, however has 160 W RMS. Which one is better (louder and has more bass)?
I feel the 300 sounds deeper and the 100 sounds a tad 'muffled' with standard EQ settings (which I changed to make it less bass heavy for normal use since it can feel overpowering and I also have neighbours.. otherwise it's really nice). 100 is cheaper and smaller, somewhat lighter so somewhat portable if you have a bag of about 65 liters ish. Still not really portable otherwise (and I don't recommend driving when you go partying ;). Also the 300 is considerably taller so if you wish to put it under your desk, good luck. If none of this is an issue then the 300 is a good choice. Also, idk about the 300, but my 100 can have some software issues regarding changing the volume on PC (that it doesn't initially respond by changing the volume on the pc, but only on the device itself). It isn't a huge deal and you will get used to fixing it quite easily, but that is kind of annoying when you first encounter it. Could just be a me-problem though. ALL IN ALL: if one is considerably cheaper and you don't have any space/practical limitations, then go for the 300, if you do then the 100 will do the job. Also I recommend downloading APO equalizer for PC. Really helpful if you live in a home that directly neighbours your neighbour's.
@@jeffsingh333 Dell had them on sale at the time. I paid 500.00 for the pair with free shipping. These things are great ! I had them at 80-90% volume and they were still playing when I shut them off after 6 hours. They play a little louder when plugged in though.

@@nielshelm1470 Ofcourse. He just told that. With aux out connected to aux in there's no problems like with bluetooth or tws. Also no delay. With RCA/Phono and 3.5mm stereo mini-jack you only have to watch out for AC powercables (interference) and that you 're limited in the maximum distance (approx. 10-15m) to prevent loss of quality and so on. Also, it's better to have two identical speakers, for a balanced sound(stage).

Partybox 300 has better battery life, but also weighs 1.5 times as much. Bass performance is actually similar, so i would still choose the 100.

Ofcourse. He just told that. With aux out connected to aux in there's no problems like with bluetooth or tws. Also no delay.
With RCA/Phono and 3.5mm stereo mini-jack you only have to watch out for AC powercables (interference) and that you 're limited in the maximum distance (approx. 10-15m) to prevent loss of quality and so on.
Also, it's better to have two identical speakers, for a balanced sound(stage).
U can use Samsung Bluetooth dual audio to connect both and play at the same time

Absolutely not the same bass kid lmfao the 300 kills this little 100 don't forget the bass boost was turned off on the 300 lol turn that on and it would literally blow that little 100 away
Boofa _93 the Partybox 100 emphasizes on 50-60hz with a one note bass boost.
The 300 on the other hand has more natural and deeper bass, which i really like.
