So much info on auto transcription, but not converting text transcripts. Someone recommended Descript but I thought it was just another auto transcription tool. This didn't work. I can't get the option to import the transcript file to come up after importing the video. This is why I find video tutorials endlessly frustrating, nothing ever functions in real life as it does on the video.
This is awesome thanks! The only thing is mine is auto transcribing. I don't get the option to transcribe from a file, I don't have that little window pop up and it just does it automatically. Which is ok as its pretty accurate. I must be doing something wrong 🤔
You're welcome, Steve. The tutorial you watched is an old tutorial and the Workflow is a little different. If you don't want to use the automatic transcription feature, add your audio or video to the project files. This way you can import a Transcript or use the automatic transcription feature or the White Glove trans ription service. I did an updated video. @@David_Mbugua Is this still a feature? I downloaded Descript and followed your video but after uploading the video, I didn't get the prompt to upload my own text file, only use their transcription feature
