Cheap? Certainly am. All for a chicken burger and a milk shake! Looking forward to recording the next offering from Maxus, provided Mrs Harris let's us back.
Not much of a market for 4 wheel drive pickup's??? When's the last time you saw a 2 wheel drive one? That would be useless for me because of the really low towi weight limit and because its not 4 wheel drive
We currently have a Musso (so a target customer) but can't buy something without 4x4 and everyone I know with a pickup needs 4x4 - its not just trades that use them! Farmers, Estates, Game Keepers, Fencers, Equestrian, etc.
@@PammyStevensonEquest Exactly, just yesterday morning was towing 3500kg ,then in the afternoon taking a few hundred kg of feed in the back along fields and muddy tracks
wait what!!! rear wheel drive only?? try drive a pickup with rear drive only in any sort of muck or wet grass even. definitely need 4x4 with them. since a cars weight and engine are mostly front drive they'd actually be better at this than this pickup :( bar the height clearance of course
Charging time (DC 20-80%) 45min Is figured Maxus gave me from their test there battery C rate should be able to maintain a high charge curve for a while due to its huge size let’s see when I can really test the final production car
I need 4 wheel drive and single cab and am very keen to replace my Land Rover Hi cap with an electric pick up. Maybe the ford ranger when they make it.
What did you replace the landy with mate or did you see sense and keep it… if you go for this then please have a good look at them, it’s a shocking design when you get down and have a look underneath!
Good price ?? £50k plus vat NOOOO Buy a Hilux Invincible X or a Ranger Wild track both top of the range and walk away with £10K change still in your pocket and with four-wheel drive, also nearly ALL UK pick-ups are four-wheel drive, I guess you don't really know the pick-up truck market very well. The 1000 KG towing capacity is dreadful, all the Diesel pick-ups will tow 3500KG, my trailers weigh more than 1000KG. I was looking forward to this arriving in the UK but it just doesn't make any sense, too expensive, no four-wheel drive and unable to tow anything, such a shame a real missed opportunity .
@@NicolasRaimo well, the problem it cost over 50k. If it would cost 30 - i have no questions. Look at F150 Lightenning and other trucks in this segment.
@@paulf3353 the f150 lighting won’t be a straight £$ conversation, also US cars don’t include tax in the listed prices so it’s very bottom spec here in Uk going to start more like 56k
@@NicolasRaimo Base F150 is 40k$, even if it is 40k£ in the UK, it is cheaper. But my point is leaf suspension on 50k truck is crazy. This is pure rip off. In the US even base 20k$ (!) maverick has independent suspension!

I wouldn't purchase for that reason.... Tow a loaded trailer out of a muddy gateway in the UK in autumn with a 2wd....🙈 Nope!

It’s pretty good off-road, Greenlanes etc, doesn’t seem to spin much either due to how you can efficiently put the power down.

They cope surprisingly well off-road, due to the way you can put the power down, limited spinnage
@1:40 what about the charging curve… 1 hour 🤔

Congratulations on being the first!
Thanks!
Going to see a few issues with the DC charging cables reaching that charge point if it stays in the same place
Maybe on one Of the oil firms chargers but everyone else should be fine
@@NicolasRaimo maybe, I don’t think a Tesla charger would reach that far but hey I’d give it a go! Keep up the good work!
If you parked side on or reversed I think it be close
Compared to the final production version everything you stated was wrong.probably why they giving them away a year into production

Nice truck but as an electrician need a van
Maxus do vans.

Seems like a shadow of the F150 Lightning for not much less.
skoda elmo/eltra was the first all eltric pickup in the uk
Why park in one disabled parking bay when you can park in two ? 🤦
Sorry Steven don't know if I get your point?
leaf springs c'mon...
All commercial vehicles like this are leaf springs nothing odd about that… imagine the price of them to get springs and shockers for a 1 ton pay load
