Welcome to the official channel of NIIR. The webinar on "national Security Perspective of Nepal" has been organized by Nepal Institute of International Relations (NIIR) on Sept 11th 2020, Friday. Nepali scholar Mr. Balananda Sharma (Retd. Gen. of Nepal army) and Sydney based scholar Mr Srinjoy Bose, Ph.D. (a senior lecturer at University of New South Wales) presented their views on the webinar. Dr Bose talked on basically the world wide security perspective with is experiences of Afganistan and Myanmar and recommended Nepal for the people to people level exchenges as a new security measure. Similarly, Mr Sharma arugued on the basic security concerns and measures of Nepali security perspective. He also focused on the smart diplomatic means instead of hard power to foster the national security.
