I have the C90 and M90 I bought in mid 1980s still...play it all the time with my Denon DP59L turntable and Carver TX2 tuner. Great components...bought them all at same time and all still work great.
Look at the quality. All the brands at the time were making great components. Today if you want something of that quality , you have to spend thousands and even so , you probably won't see a copper chassis and don't forget Made in Japan.
Yeah thats true . I have combo Pioneer m90/c90. Even transistors are attached to copper plate , not dirrectly to radiators. Its a great quality made in japan hifi

Oh I must disagree, this is not a great a video at all ... kinda cringy even watching it today (: I don't have any details about that relay any more, but you can try to take the transparent cover off and actuate the contact leafs manually. They can get stuck. I wouldn't use any chemical cleaner in there, maybe as a last resort. If replacement is really necessary, you can look for dpdt or stereo relays.
Yer well, but stil good info, :) the relays activate fine but the left channel falls out,, change the 4 relays with some TAKAMISAWA RY12W-K works great now.. Thanks :)
@@iggyg1370 I think deoxit on relay would be ok. Especially if relay is cleaned & dried afterwards (like with isopropyl alcohol). How could that hurt it? Can deoxit touch magnets & the lacquer on magnet wire..? After it’s fixed, wouldn’t putting dielectric grease on the relay contacts help prevent further problems? Such as oxidation, arcing, pitted or welded contacts…
I've watched the video section where you say what the problem was more than once, but I can't figure out what you say. You are speaking so softly. And the comments don't clear it up. What was the main problem ? What is a so called power supply assembly ?

Wenn Dein Video jetzt noch in der deutschen Sprache wäre. Hast Du nur die Kontakte der Relais gereinigt, oder direkt ein neues Relais verbaut? Ich hätte wohl gleich alle Relais getauscht und sämtliche Elkos. Darf ich fragen was bei Dir der Fehler war? Mein Englisch ist leider über die Jahre sehr schlecht geworden. +The Darkside Auweia dieses Video ist echt kein Qualitätprodukt :) Das Relais war irgendwie "festgefahren" und hätte auf jeden Fall ersetzt werden sollen, habe ich aber nicht gemacht. Der eigentliche Fehler kommt bei 14:00, da waren eine Diode kurzgeschlossen, ein Transistor defekt und ein Elko hinüber. Löttemperatur bei Passiven Bauteilen eigentlich beliebig (hauptsache nicht mit dem 500°C Dachrinnen-Kolben kommen :) und bei Halbleitern am besten 280. Das Stereo Poti habe ich bei eBay ("musikus-hifi") gefunden und dann bei deren Filiale in Hannover abgeholt. Ganz netter Laden aber auch ein bisschen HiFi Hokuspokus: Vergoldete Netzstecker usw :)

Vergleich mal im Datenblatt die Abmessungen des Gehäuses und der Pins, wenn die mit dem Original übereinstimmen, dann halte ich es für sehr wahrscheinlich, dass es passt!

Why do you use the sound mute. I would recommend not using as to listen to utter silence is quite annoying. Good video otherwise.
The 230V outputs in my amplifier are not working. Could it be the fuses that have blown, or is there something else that needs to be replaced?
