If he bulks up in the weightroom he's unstoppable. Teams are gonna tank for this kid. And the cherry on top is: he's young. Only 18 years old. @kelleyeidem667 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@SevenHunnid It's a matter of geometry and physics. Like a seesaw, if a weight is added near the fulcrum, its force is less than if the same weight is placed at the edge - much more. With thin bones and muscles, the risk of injury is that much greater. But, by adding strength, plus gaining more experience from landing more times, his injury risk goes down. Meanwhile, most of his time should remain on the perimeter where there is less chance of him landing on someone else's foot. This approach has worked well for Durant.

Victor resembles Kareem (physically) at that age. Kareem had an unstoppable shot and stayed relatively injury free. Many guys his size have foot issues. I understand what Giannis means but that's not gonna happen. 7 footers have been in the league since the 50s, Kareem came up in the 70s, Ralph Sampson in the 80s, and they never became the norm.
A few guys have been in the league with similar height as Wemby over the years, but never with such dexterity and complete game. We're witnessing the unprecedented, and he will remain an outlier his whole career.
      Human cheat code.

If that’s true, don’t you think it’s even more incredible what someone like Curry has been able to do? At 6’2 or 6’3. Changed the game and dominated the league. We could possibly begin seeing more of these type of crazy athletes coming up in the next decade. I think having another Curry like player is 1 out of billions.

But it actively seeks and welcomes them into the league. Look at the top top players right now. Giannis, Embiid, Jokic, Luka. 🤯 All foreign born players! Such a beautiful thing. For us to inspire the world in this way is awesome.

Granted as well that they have different positions, one's a big man and the other a wing. But i just look at the shooting man, that is really special to have a sweet shooting big like that. And it looks like he has good strength as well in the post. I mean he can be ferocious in the post with his power dunks as well. 💯

He AND Olajawon beat Magic and Kareem who had an ALL-STAR roster to go to the Finals against the Celtics. They would have been Champions, BUT that was the BEST Celtics TEAM ever. Everybody’s missing something. Look at those *AT* *MOST* half full arenas in Vegas. I don’t know why everybody thinks Vegas is going to do great with the NBA. This kid is a phenom and the stadium is only half full. *AT* *MOST* . Shame. In Seattle and Vancouver you wouldn’t even be able to find tickets. PNW needs its respect and teams back.
This is showing me year after year I don’t think it will be as successful as everyone thinks it will be in Vegas. NBA wants it to work in Vegas so badly but the attendance is showing otherwise.

The biggest problem for players at this kinda height is the injury bug. For example, Ralph Sampson and Shawn Bradley come to mind and both of those guys had significant injuries that limited their careers. Look at Chet Holmgren and his recent devastating injury and there have been others. Whoever drafts Wembanyama will have a big risk on their hands and especially if they give up a lot assets to get him. 💯

The 18-year-old French wunderkind - with a point guard’s handle, a deft outside shooting touch and an eight-foot wing span - attracted nearly 200 NBA scouts in Las Vegas this week for two exhibition games between his club team, Metropolitans 92, and the G League Ignite.
