Hi Pam, maybe the expression "got off on the wrong foot" is related to a bad day that you are having, in Spanish we'd say "me levanté con el pié izquierdo" which stands literally by "I got up with my left foot"
Yes, I agree. And I love how similar idioms can be in different languages. In English we also say 'I got out of bed on the wrong side this morning' to mean 'I am in a bad mood for no clear reason'.
