    2:17. The phrase 'beat around the bush'; we use as 'peck a bush to bring out a snake' . This means 'to do what you don't have to' for us/indigenous people.
    10:09. The phrase 'down to earth'; we, also, express our phrase one's bare foot being on the ground.
    Thank you for your useful phrase/expression.

    1. First and foremost - most importantly
    2. Have an ear for smth - refers to someone who is good at hearing, repeating, and understanding sounds
    3. Face the music - accept the criticism or punishment you have deserved
    4. Go hand in hand with - whem smth is coosely relataed to smth else
    Learning English goes hand in hand with vocabulary learning

    Here are some nice phrases I composed with the vocabulary learned today.
    - Nowadays, with the prices rising to the sky, everybody is having rough times trying to make ends meet 😆
    - First and foremost, I have to say that this lesson has been of utmost importance, not only covering the mere meaning of the words, but also remarking that they go hand in hand with pronunciation.
    Thank you teacher.

    I wanted to take Japanese as my elective course, but the quota was full, so I took German instead, which is the next best thing.

    Thanks a lot. Learning vocabulary has always been a thing easier said than done for me but your lessons are really helping. May I ask if we can use these phrases in our writings or are they too informal to do so?

    • @InteractiveEng
      @InteractiveEng  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm happy to hear that. As for writing, it depends on who your audience is. If it's academic writing, I'd avoid using idioms. 👍

    First and foremost, my girlfriend said that she's not ready for relationships and that she wants me to wait, so I'm broken... But guess what is the next best thing?! Learning the language! It perfectly helps me with beating around the bush.
    Sir, thank you, the set of phrases you've prepared is 200% useful for me!
    p.s. learning new things helps me to distract myself, so if you're heartbroken too, just try learning something. I wish peace and love for everyone.
