I agree with you. I cut my hair about 2 months post op. I was very gentle, I made sure to not let the clippers touch my scalp, I feel that was a smart choice. Today I am 3 months and 3 weeks post op and I cut my hair on Christmas Eve because Christmas was the next day and the day after Christmas was my birthday and I wanted to look presentable for both occasions. Honestly I feel cutting my hair the first time is the reason why my hair grew back so fast the second time. I’m a few days away from being 4 months post op and I basically have a full head full of hair now. I believe having good results is because I started trimming early and I paid attention to my body. I knew when I was ready and I feel I was correct because My hair is growing faster than my peers who I met the day of my surgery. So I 💯 % agree with you! also your hair looks good. Similar to mines. maybe 🤔 we are on to something. Perhaps cutting your hair sooner is better and it forces your hair to regrow sooner 🤷🏽♂️… Ps: I’m also a huge advocate for the Derma-roller. I feel in some way, cutting your hair and the derma-roller go hand in hand. I believe they both stimulate blood flow which is why our recipient areas are doing so well. I wish I could add pictures because I’ll show you guys my progress and it’s amazing!
I’m considering getting the procedure done and that was my biggest concern. I work with the public and can’t just throw on a hat. Thank you for putting that question to bed for me.
Still looks good fam. I don't even need a transplant. But I will hit 40 in Feb so if I ever needed to get it done in the future, its good to know I have options. Especially seeing it done with African American/ Carribbean hair. Appreciate the videos and I'll be checkin in bro 🇬🇧👊🏾
Thank you for sharing brother. My surgeon told me I could do whatever I wanted with my hair after 3 weeks post op. Like you said, application of common sense in regards to what you decide to do with your hair is key. I healed fast as well. Buzzed my head about 4 weeks post op. I've got many years of experience with clippers too so I went gently over the recipient site though it appeared very well healed.
I wish I had your confidence. The most I did was the sides and the donor area. You are right that you have to shave the donor so tend skin can penetrate the skin. I am considering shaving that top dense area of hair. At the end of the day it is all up to discretion and how you heal.
Norwood 7 with 5500 graths....Got smp on my entire scalp donor and recipient after 3 months, I'm at month 4 and I see amazing growth plus my donor area looks 95% better after smp. Smp only slightly improves the fullness of the recipient area but it's definitely a noticeable improvement
@@Salute_vet22 Asli Tarcan $2200 plus an extra $300 because they extracted 1000 of my 5500 grafts from my beard so a total cost of $2500. That included a 4 night stay in a hotel. I've heard prices have went up since I was there May 2021. And in case you're wondering it's been about a year and 6 months since I had the procedure and the results are way beyond anything I had hoped for. Only regret is I wish I knew about this procedure years ago. I keep my donor area low and I've never really let it grow out so I can't say for sure how well it looks if I did. For some people that's an issue, but for me it's kind of ridiculous to complain about the back of my head, as a norwood 7 I've always had hair on the back of my head but bald at the top and never g got a compliment, now I have hair on top and a fade at the back and people keep telling me that I don't look 40 years old. I keep being told I look 30.
Hair is looking good bro. You’ll be fine. I think I cut my hair like day 30. The donor I cut early in the back before 30 days like you to get to the bumps. My right side donor was the worse too. I think they start on the right.
I heard you on another video talking about tea tree oil. How and when after the transplant you apply it? Cus i bought it and that shit has a strong smell
My clinic told me 1 week before I can use clippers. I waited like 18 days or so but was surprised by them telling me a week. I keep it short, bald face so I was itching for a cut haha
Your ht looks good for 5 / 6 weeks. What’s about thoughts on foil shavers (pitbull shaver)? I had my ht done 2 weeks ago. I am planning on cutting it in another two weeks since hair won’t start growing until the 4-5 month mark.
Why don't you also prefer to move to the market and do even a better job in Istanbul. Seems like people prefer this market and it is alreqdy a matured and educated market with cost and tax benefits.
I had all the same problems and cut my hair after one month couldnt take that shit anymore the tend skin wasn't working I cut it and let my girl pull the engrowns now I'm alot better
@@ThatDailyBread thanks Bro. I am also thinking about to go to Asli Tarcan, but I read a lot of comments that they will destroy the donor area 😟? But yours looks fine I guess? Greetings from Frankfurt Germany
@@jimmyjackson3927 I'm not that happy with my donor area I'm at month 2 and it's still looking a little hacked but don't get wrong asli is a great clinic and it doesn't happen to everybody I think some people donor area just recovers better than others

I think I’ll be ok. There was no damage done to the scalp.
You not supposed to cut your hair 6month.
Why not?
