The fact Tinapolis sounds like an ancient Greek influenced state and also has a small little pass on a mountain side like Thermopylae is just beautiful coincidence.
Thanks for the shout out and for the continued video series, as it's been a great help in getting me started with my own worldbuilding and outlining what I want to make.
One small addition I'd make is if you have a elf or half elf and a halfling in your party, opting to fudge the borders in Elemrwen's favour would be pushed for by the Halfling Pact, who are weary of the Hestati and want to undermine them at any cost, if your party decides to go along with The Halfling Pact and Elemrwen and forging the borders in their favour, you could see the 2 nations join together like the Hellenic league providing better military strength, resources, trade and defence from the surrounding nations.
Doing this however could draw the ire of the United Trade Cities as Elemrwen controls access to the Western Continent through the northern strait of the North Syron Sea, between Rimella and Castiel of Saluvia, having a stronger Elemrwen would weaken the UTC's monopoly on transcontinental maritime trade.
Or it could trigger a war, as The Hestati Empire controls Empire bay one of the largest natural bays on the map, without access to the North Syron sea and therefore the UTC and all it's commercial wealth, the Hestati Empire would lose significant income as well as being effectively landlocked, unless they wish to circumnavigate the entire globe instead. So now you have 2 new scenario's to drop your players into that are direct consequences of their own actions and choices.
As for lore, with the Northern Border of The Halfling Pact secured by their union with Elemrwen, with new found wealth flowing in from trade with Elemrwen, and their control over the North Syron, The Pact decides it's time to expand south invading Telule
(In universe Telule is going to have a terrible history of abducting halflings for slave trading, they are easier to capture than humans, elves or pretty much any other fantasy race, they require less food and water yet have the same intelligence and can do the same work as an adult, and due to their small stature if they attempt to run away, they are easily caught, require less room, therefore less expenditure on sheltering them)
Due to their agrarian based culture the Halflings are exceptionally knowledgeable about crops, livestock and farming so they have a long history of being enslaved, to be forced to work in the fields, kitchens, Apothecaries and gardens of lords around the world, this long history of being preyed up on is why the pact was formed, so together with strength in numbers they could resist the constant raiding parties.
However the years of cruel slavery and bloodshed have left an indelible mark upon The Halflings who had become accustomed to war, raiding and fighting, and now they were ready to march up on Telule, first besieging the city of Jeerum, and sacking it, freeing all enslaved halflings as they marched south. With the help of the Elemrwen who supplied ships another halfling force entered through Goza bay, and blockading Celerues and eventually capturing it. The Land force after conquering Jeerum moved on to the capital city Harumar the mountain city put up a hard fought defence against the unrelenting horde of halflings lusting for revenge and glory in battle, but eventually the city fell to the Halflings. The Royal Family of Telule were shackled and paraded through every city on their long journey back to Widdelton to be held for ransom as the final insult to the Telulean's.
With the Kingdom in turmoil after the loss of it's Capital city and it's 2 other major cities, the Halfling pact made it's transition into the First Halfling Empire and the once northern region of Telule became known as the Southern Pac, with Widdelton being re-named as Central Pac, and Capital of the new burgeoning empire.

No problem man. I like giving credit where credit is due.
Are you sure that you've never done any lore building before? Because you com up with some good stuff. I like your idea of the halfling-elven alliance and the lore about potential war with the UTC. I would have the war aims of the halflings would be to free all the slaves and take back all the original halfling lands. We could say that long ago the lands around Jeerum and Celerues were actually halfling city states that had been conquered and renamed by the Teluleans. Freeing the slaves and the reconquest of what was rightfully their would be enough to rile up even the most peace loving of halflings.
I think there's also a lot of potential for alliances or trade partners between the Halfling Pact and the Dwarves of Kazaak and Harumar. If the halflings were going to win against Telule they would need a technological edge that could be provided by the dwarves (in the form of siege engines) as well as the elves (in the form of boats).
If a halfling empire was formed they might become the very thing they sought to destroy. Which makes for excellent plot. Its like a Greek tragedy story.

@@tillerdiggs7511 I'm sure it's entirely because you've just created a fantastic map and the questions you ask your views helps spur the creativity, and I'm more of a visual person, I need to look at something to think of lore, which is how I found your channel, trying to find out how to build a great map so I could get started with my own.
I messed up not realising Harumar was a dwarf city and accidently put it as the capital of Telule, as a slight retcon and reason to add the Dwarves into the equation, you could say that Dwarves were often taken as slaves too, often mistaken for Halflings or because of their high level and efficient craftmanship as you mentioned they'd be supplying the siege weapons.
With the building and growing of the non-human powers, such as dwarves, elves and Halflings all beginning to be tied together, through military, and economic ties it could pose quite a threat to the regular ordinary humans which could create some interesting social dynamics, interactions and scenarios between non human party members when in a human nation, or human party members venturing into Halfling land
Most of this came from the fact that Halflings or Hobbits, are highly Tolkienised and follow the same tropes as Tolkien's Hobbits, being nature loving, innocent, purely good, and pacifist, I think it's time we got to see some Imperialistic Halflings, who aren't quite interested with frolicking on the rolling hills.
If the Halflings form their Empire it would be very interesting to see if they would inflict slavery on the humans who once preyed on them, or will they completely abandon the practice. Will the Halflings take the road to tragedy, or the moral high ground, maybe the players can be the deciding factor, or maybe it's left up to the dubious DM to decide

Thanks man I appreciate that. I'm glad I can be of help.
From your extensive knowledge of the map it sounds like you already have it as a .jpeg but just in case you you want the updated version, you can pick it up from my twittier: twitter.com/tillerdiggs I realized that the ones I posted on Reddit weren't complete.
You know what you're right. Why shouldn't halflings and hobbits be more war like? Especially after generations of defensive wars and being taken advantage of. It would be awesome if a halfling player character took part in the reformation of the government of the Halfling pact. That would make for some excellent RP.
There could be two major political factions in the pact: the Imperialists and the traditionalists. While they both agreed to retake all the old halfling territory and free the slaves it was very soon after that they began to diverge as to what to do next. Do they banish the human population of their newly taken cities? Do they enslave them? Do they try to live with them? The player character can decide which faction to support and attempt to alter the outcome of these sorts of questions.

The cities are the different colored dots on the map. I showcase them a little bit in the last video on names. th-cam.com/video/o455wn0HHf8/w-d-xo.html If you want see how I place cities, I have an older video about how I do it, though its on a different map. th-cam.com/video/z0BOdRWuvW8/w-d-xo.html
