E39 still the best. If only any Chinese car maker bring back the exact design and dump battery and motor in place of the inline 6, it’ll be perfect.

byd doesnt even have a front sight.... alpha romeo has the best front sign, jaguar comes next then yup mercedes en bmw.. though just searched tesla and saw 2 with no sign or almost non seable, but 1 had like alpha romeo and it was red, looked hot though... so byd better get that right before really competing...

Just got my seal 2 months ago, and now the new version is out 😢 the biggest change for me is the electric sunshade. Yes the glass roof is magical in blocking heat, but sometimes it can get too bright. I think the seat in the 2025 seal is nicer. It’s simpler and classier. I see they moved the start/stop button. In the 2024 seal it’s located too close to the EPB button. I turned off the car accidentally when parking once. And the turn signal stalk is on the left side now! Overall, I think it’s a big and nice improvement, but I dont like where the LIDAR is mounted, though I bet it makes the ADAS much better. I HATE the ADAS in 2024 seal. I turned off the automatic braking function, but it still brakes automatically even when the object is not directly in front of me. And the traffic sign recognition never works in my country. The car thinks the speed limit is 5 km/h in a highway, and 70 km/h in a residential area. Turning it off leaves an ugly icon in the instrument cluster. The only thing I have enabled in my car is the blind spot monitoring now 😅

@@zackwang9314 i did. I turned off everything except for blind spot monitoring. I was surprised to see automatic braking still kicking in. After it did so, the “AEB deactivated” message appeared. Very weird.
Unfortunately, I can't say much about the driving assistants. Since delivery in October 2023, they have never worked. Except for the lack of recuperation, I don't miss any! Only at the first inspection do I have a chance to improve ! 8:36
It's really weird that they decided to introduce the current model with an update already lurking behind the next corner.
I welcome the changes though but wished they would have also imported the DM-i version of it. For me it's the best of both worlds.
But at least LFP is safer than NMC and from what i can gather they are supposedly more robust.
I wonder what the cheapest model will cost, i assume 40k € since the current base model sits at 45k...maybe the prices even ggo up since they have added a lot of tech...hopefully not because then the vehicle would be a no no for me.

In China, it's cheaper than 2024 model. When it gets to other countries, I think it might stay the same as 2024 model or be cheaper.

I don't think so. The new model is currently on sale in China, overseas sales may take several months.
@@evsreport True, I called the dealer today, they said the don't know when it will come to Europe. They said that I can cancel my order and wait for the new model, but what if it takes another year or two to come to Europe and by that time another facelift is released in China? I'll never buy the car at that rate.
