Let me just say I really enjoyed this let's play a lot and I'm glad you're playing old PS1 and PS2 games. I was just thinking about Rachet and clank and you have a playthrough up which is great. Sly Cooper is really fun just as a suggestion or OG crash bandicoot. Anyway, let me also just say how much bs happens in this game and how luck is so much apart of this. I have watched about 5 different playthroughs of this game and I have noticed a trend. For some reason the CPU keeps going extremely easy and making such insanely stupid mistakes. Now granted, I know they always do the old put the monster in defense when it has the same attack power thing and end up losing all the time but, that's norm. I have seen so many matches where the CPU will have a gate guardian and never do shit. Or never even pull their strongest card! Let me tell you something. Every time I went against the high forest mage "perfectly ultimate great moth". A lot of the time with the power up, no exception. Every time high meadow mage with gate guardian and many times fused with sword of dark destruction, sometimes wall shadow as well. Sebek and Neku always hit me with at least one shadow spell and the few times I made it to seto 3rd I was wrecked. I know there are moments where ISIS will have a b. Skull dragons and weevil will have great moth. Just for the most part it was that on yt the game tries to make it seem like we're all insane and the game doesn't go HARD and a lot worse than this. I've had moments where my only megamorph got taken out by some trap card and also took 1000 attack points off my THTD. Big shout-out to you for saying so on the desert shrine. " Let's make it dramatic" I wanna see these guys pull out all the stops and make for really tough duels on screen!
I'm glad you liked it! Regarding your thoughts on the CPU going easy: when I played as a kid, I had the exact same problems with Gate Guardians, traps, the game was nearly impossible. But it turns out that if you change your play style, the CPU also changes style. Like in the video fighting Pegasus, there is a way to force him to play easy. But just one tiny mistake and he regains the advantage again. I think we all eventually find a play style which makes the CPU easier and then stick to it, even if it's by accident. What do you think?
