  • When we moved to UK, parts were taken off the 700GS In the US, Hope was to settle in UK and buy a Euro spec. 700. Life changed and we came back to US. Euro spec 1250 could not be brought back so farckles stripped and bike sold.
So now we have farckles for both bikes to reinstall. Still need skid plates, still need bark busters for the 1250. Ongoing task.

I can hear and see my headlight cycle as soon as I push the button, have ridden extensively at night and honestly seems to not make much difference to me. High beam lights up the world, Low beam lights up 5 feet in front of you. I've added Denali D7s and they are incredible. I need to dig in the manual and figure out how to manually adjust the low beam up a bit, if it's possible.

Headlights are great and light the corners. I would open the grill to let more light out on extended runs

Nice farkling on both. The 1250 looks almost identical to mine. Surprised if yours doesn’t have the adaptive headlight - I can hear and see mine do its thing on power up.

Yep don't understand it myself. No noise, no movement yet spec sheet from BMW for build shows it.

Investigated further it does have adaptive but only seems to work sometimes. Need to investigate further.

@@TrailBreak-Travel At least it's there - now the question is, why is it intermittent. I need to actually ride mine at night to see if the headlight really does what it's supposed to...

Nice video, where did you get the zipper pockets fit the cases?

I need to know what that zipper insert inside the lid of the panniers is, I was looking at some BMW OEM nets, but what you have looks so much better! Thanks!

@@sunnycloudy1337 They are, many parts seen from other companies are simply reboxed, repriced Chinese goods. Why pay a lot more!

@@sunnycloudy1337 we pays our money and takes our choice. I've had no issues in fact I just bought a clock spring for my wife's jeep and it worked fine. The ones I bought in US were all faulty. Luck of the draw. Zippers fit fine were not expensive and Worth a go if you can't get them elsewhere

@@TrailBreak-Travel I looked for the zippers on AliExpress and couldn't find them so I settled for the nets from wunderlich and they are alright, the rods are holding on the inside of the rivets from tension alone, no drilling required
