I have an R1250GSA Triple Black, as well, and I love it. I got my 2022 K1600B Grand America from Seattle and they were great! Got my 2016 K1600GTLe from Seattle, when they were in their old location. Riding season is almost here, he says as the snow falls today here in Oregon... lol. Maybe I'll see you on the WA or OR BDR :) Enjoy!!
I once (2003) pondered purchasing a k1200rs. It had a custom paint job and i returned to the dealership several times, just to admire the look. Then, one day in July, they had a special sale. Boom! I got it. I Loved it for as long as i owned it. Though i sold it when we had a new born and neede a second car. I think if i get another, it will be this bike, in triple black.

I have a seot 2022 r1250gsa rallye fully loaded i ordered mine in late july from spandau. Got her on 9th sept go 1700 smiles on her now what a machine mate. I got mine from allen jeffries in rotherham south yorkshire. I visited seattle for a day in sept 2018 never went to the motorrad dealer but if i get back over there i will ride say and enjoy. Incedently i plan to ride from yorkshire to spandau in either may or june this year

@@alt-rider Yes BMW had some supply chain issues for awhile on certain parts such as the LED headlight and the dynamic suspension so they were shipping bikes with halogen headlights and/or base suspension.
Jeff i have to ask why wouldn't you wait till the end of the year? The brand new model is coming with new engine. Probably R1300 but we will see. Otherwise, glad to see another happy owner of a GS! Wish you many happy miles on a bike!

@@sunnycloudy1337 I haven't purchased it yet, but instead I have contacted the company that makes it, and connected them the the folks at BlackBoxEmbedded.com. As it stands, this unit could not plug into the BMW GPS prep; you'd have to completely remove the nav prep and mount it on the bracket that it uses. Plus you'd have no wonder wheel input to it. So what I have asked these companies to do is consider working together to build a new product that combines the best of both: Instant plug into the BMW GPS prep, plus wonder wheel input from the handlebar, and CarPlay on the display. They are talking now, and we will see what comes of it. But that's the product that we all really want.

@MotorcycleJedi, Supply chain has caused some shortage globally, not Seattle-specific. For the factory order, I'd say about 1 month was due to supply chain back-up. But 3-4 months is normal turnaround on a factory order in my experience. I have ordered two from Berlin.

Many of the units built in 2022 still on showroom floors are missing ESA, Adaptive LED, etc. However, customers can factory-order a build, as did I, and get exactly what they want. The only thing BMW is not putting into the bikes today is heated seats, which I don't care about. Everything else is available if you are willing to factory order. This has been the case since October 2022, when BMW's last GS/A supply chain update was sent to dealers worldwide.

It came without the ESA and if I really want it, it’s going to cost me $5K+ to retrofit. Now when I ride, it bugs me but I’m not willing to trade or sell at a huge loss and pay an additional $8K to get what I thought I was getting in the first place. It’s taken a lot of the enjoyment away.
@@chip9712 Last year, I nearly purchased an in-stock GSA without Dynamic ESA. Its absence also removed all of the interesting ride modes, so I undid the deal and placed the factory order instead. It was middle of winter, so I was not in a rush. Your bike should have sold to you for $2-3,000 below the MSRP on the factory order form, which would have raised flags.
The key here is that I don't just look at my bike. I actually ride it. Here in the Pacific Northwest, USA, that includes riding in rain, in low temperatures, occasional 600+ mile days, and often in dusty conditions off-road. Leaving the screen off or fitting a smaller screen would make riding it less fun and less comfortable. Not a trade-off that I would make. I leave screen-less to cafe racers or other short-distance bikes.

Is the front suspension compressed?
I'm not 100% positive, but I think I remember reading the the front suspension is slightly compressed during transport.

I explicitly ordered mine with adaptive LEDs. There are many on the showroom floor without LEDs for the main headlamp.

Depends. Most dealers are selling at MSRP on factory orders, and discounting accessories purchased when it arrives.
