Thanks man. Been watching all the hmatcam videos of the Grand Tundra for months while waiting for the pre-order to be released. It was a hard 3 month wait.
I am so glad I subscribed to this channel. I've recently got into the FPV hobby this last year. I normally fly sub 250 micro quad racers. I have always wanted to get plane/wing of some form. This channel is so epic dude, like how?!?! The planes, the flying and man the cinematography! I am certainly going to have to give this a try. Maybe my own micro fpv plane to start this summer haha! :)
Thanks man, I really appreciate it 😀 Get a specwing or a similar wing from CrahTestHobby. When laminated it will survive anything you throw at it. Laminating is a bitch the first time, but it is a really good armor for the wing.
Great video! I've enjoied it through this winter. Hva vil du anbefale for Grand Tundra. (In english): I am considering purchasing a Grand Tundra as a FPV platform. I've watched many videos here on TH-cam but no one says anything about radio setup or use of stabilizer or flight controller / OSD. I see that you are using the long range 1.8 Ghz vtx, but can you say something about what kind of flight controller / stabilization you are using. I keep myself within the 2.8 Ghz radio, Spektrum DX8 / Lemon RX and 5.8 Ghz vtx. I'm just a intermediate RC pilot, so I support myself on a stabilizer system i.e. Arkbird or Cyclops Storm. What would you recommend for the Grand Tundra.
I have the original tundra and it is a lot of fun. The landing gear needs a lot of re-straightening but that comes with the territory when you stol into your garden! Haha! I like this bird a lot but i'll have to wait because priorities.😭
Thanks mate 😁 It`s hard work to keep track of alle the footage. Groundcamera, wing, tail, drone, dvr and hd from runcam split,. A single flight is now like 20GB 😬
Greate video and a great model. I guess your Norwegian and have it bought or given and shipped to Norway. I've learned that Hobbyking charge about €100 for shipping it here (Norway). Can you give me any clues on how to purches this model the most reasonable way?
Damn that was amazing, where is your fpv camera installed? And what HD camera are you using looking forward? And what's your flight time? I'm sorry for all the questions I'm just very interested in this bush plane. Thanks in advance mate Rob
Very creative edit and entertaining....This plane would be great on floats..?......The VTX antenna looks like VAS trying to re-invent the wheel again....He's American you know....lol.
Very cool, bright video! I have only one question... why do you push down flaps at 90 degrees to the wing. They become an air brake in this position, aren't they?
Thanks. Sorry for my late reply. Not much lift in this position, 50-60% throttle just to stay airborne. Works great when trying to land short, but should not have had them in this position when taking off, my bad 😬
andberge ok, I understand. I asked, because I had a cesssna 152 with flaps and in position close to 90 degrees it almost "stoped" in air. I used it, as you said couple times to land shortly. All other times I had a mini crash for to slow speed.
DO FLOATS!!! What equipment are you using, don't be short on the details. That antena its like that or is a mod? Do you see in the googles that clearly??
can you tell me please, where to buy it? actually, I just the grand tundra on 6S, but the props that come with, are pretty bad, and I would like to upgrade it. thanks for your reply, and happy flights.
On this plane I have a prototype Airblade from VAS. Mad Mushroom and pepperbox on the groundstation. For the shorter flights I use a 1.3ghz module with Mad mushroom on my goggles.
I think the price is fair for such a big and thought through aircraft. It has 4 screws on the wings and 6 retainer clips for the wing struts. You need a big car for it to fit without taking it apart.
Best Tundra video I’ve seen. I have one on the way, really looking forward to flying it, especially with the floats 😎
Same here I can't wait for mine to arrive
Vraiment une superbe vidéo !!!
What a beautiful place to fly, some stunning shots there, especially @ 1:50, you’re a very lucky person.
Gotta love that plane.
What an absolutely stunning video! Thanks for sharing your beautiful location and aircraft.
Awesome, just what this plane is about!
Excellent editing! So much better than raw, speck in the sky hatcam footage! Bravo.
Thanks man. Been watching all the hmatcam videos of the Grand Tundra for months while waiting for the pre-order to be released.
It was a hard 3 month wait.
Best RC FPV video I've seen. Cool!
Wow impressive video and flying!
Stunning
That was awesome to watch! Not often you can do an outfield landing in an FPV plane and then take off again 👍👍
Glad you liked it. That is the main reason of this purchase. After some more practice I will try a mountain top landing
Amazing location to live.
This is literally awesome! Great job and amazing planes! :)
Absolutely stunning.
wonderfull pictures as ever,thanks andberge
My pleasure sharing
Man I love touch and go's. Great as usual.
EXCELLENT! I was already sold on getting one eventually, and now further justified,,Proof of great flying,recording,editing..as usual..:)
Thanks. It is a great aircraft. I had it on pre-order, it was a hard 3 months wait

That's some serious flaps you have there!
Barndoors for the win 😁
Grandiosely! Amazing! Many thanks

Another great video as always
Thanks mate 😁
It`s hard work to keep track of alle the footage. Groundcamera, wing, tail, drone, dvr and hd from runcam split,.
A single flight is now like 20GB 😬
Very well done!!
Thanks mate. Vacation mode here, but got some new videos in the making
That is very impressive, HK got this one right for sure
Thanks. I am very satisfied with this aircraft, even handles a beating 😬

Nevermind I found everything I was looking for in your description 😂 we get to lazy sometimes my apologies. Look forward to your next adventure 🤘🔥
Awesome video man!!! Do you think this plane can carry enough battery to do some longer range mountain surfing?
Very creative edit and entertaining....This plane would be great on floats..?......The VTX antenna looks like VAS trying to re-invent the wheel again....He's American you know....lol.
Thank you. Floats=Swiming.
Guess he`s trying to cut down on production costs..
Sweet juice!
Very cool, bright video!

How much throttle do you give every time you take off this plane? Great video and flying skills by the way.
Show!!!!
Damn that was amazing, where is your fpv camera installed?
DO FLOATS!!! What equipment are you using, don't be short on the details. That antena its like that or is a mod? Do you see in the googles that clearly??
Was ist die FPV Ansicht?
pretty cool! would have preferred her on floats.
😀 I have the floats in my cart, but I know that if I buy them I need to go swimming soon 😬
What part of the world is this?
Super as always! What weird antenna is that on the vtx?
Thanks. That is a prototype Airblade from VAS.
andberge cool! 1.3ghz?
Oh, not a breakthrough new way to use paperclips? :) Really nice andberge, really nice! 👍
Yes, for 1.3ghz
Thank you.
Maybe that was the idea 🤣 I don`t mind the extra drag on this airplane
Great video.
may I ask, which pro are you using?
Thanks. It is the stock 17x8
can you tell me please, where to buy it? actually, I just the grand tundra on 6S, but the props that come with, are pretty bad, and I would like to upgrade it.
thanks for your reply, and happy flights.
Cool!
Takk takk 😊
beautiful adventures! what is that sick vtx antenna? =)
sehr cool
What type of antennas are those on the tail ? Great footage as always
Peter Vendor, clearly paper clips ;-] Just kidding. He said a prototype VAS
Cool! What kind of antennas do you use for video?
On this plane I have a prototype Airblade from VAS. Mad Mushroom and pepperbox on the groundstation. For the shorter flights I use a 1.3ghz module with Mad mushroom on my goggles.
andberge very interesting!
very interesting! did you use singularity from RMRC?
I have a sidefeed singularity inside the fuse of m Strix Goblin.
andberge Did you recommend this antenna for medium range flights without directional antennas, or is it better to use an ordinary clover?
It should be good for medium range, I have not done any comparison with other antennas.
It just works and I`m happy with it.
Damn. U just changed my mind, to get the Tundra instead.
Haha. It`s an awesome airplane. Handles a beating as well
Waw. but price is kinda high cause they dont sell in kits
do u dismantle yours for transportation? if yes is it easy?
and i think yours the expensive 1700m tundra?
I think the price is fair for such a big and thought through aircraft.
It has 4 screws on the wings and 6 retainer clips for the wing struts.
You need a big car for it to fit without taking it apart.
I want to chase you with my quad.... lol. 😉.
That would be fun!
Parasite Drag :)
That was awesome! What is that fancy looking antenna on the vtx?
It is a Airblade made out of circuitboards
