@@richardweston5761 ok. Thanks a lot. Anything as radical and useful as those flares will be amazing. I’ll be glad to be one of the first fitting something of your brand on my 76.
Looks awesome, price is a bit steep. $3k would be more realistic id be thinking. I would legit buy these at that price. 5k could get a kaymar rear bar and custom storage, wiring etc... comparatively I couldn't pick. Love the concept and I will buy if and when price drops.
Thanks for your comment and I agree with you. I really wanted to sell them under $4k to make them somewhat affordable but it's a real numbers game. I will not be profiting from these, I just hope to cover my costs and get mine for free. The mold/tool is made of MDF and doesn't last long and I have been promised a production run of only 25 units/pairs. If the tool lasts longer and makes more, then I can re-amortize the costs and make them cheaper.
@@richardweston5761 thanks for the transparency, I was curious about this. I realise these things are hard to get off the ground, the fact it's at this stage is brilliant. I will definitely be a future purchaser if the price comes down. Wishing you the best, great work!
@@richardweston5761 thanks, I think that was a stitch up posted a lot of people I have spoken to are saying about 360 days from time they order to time they are driving it. If I get told 4 years I’ll be buying a used one but pretty sure it’s a hoax my dealer sent me stuff the other day after I saw the bit of paper on a land cruiser site I rang them straight away.
There is an opening in the back of the Panoz that is sealed with a closed-cell foam against the body. Simply open the Panoz door and there it is. You can remove the factory locking cap/lid for greater convenience. This is already cut out for you but if you have other water tank inlets or electricals, you can cut an accsess hole as required.
Believe me, I wish I could have made them cheaper. This is a non-profit venture. I just hope to cover my costs. It is not for the masses, but more of a boutique product that will suit those that can afford it. It solves many issues and if you consider the cost of other custom flares ( up to $2600) and Roof racks, (say $2000 for Rhino Pioneer Rack) Then $400 extra is a bargain.
@@richardweston5761 thanks for the reply. Completely understand. Just insane how expensive everything is getting! Good luck with it all. Looks awesome!
Most flares, fibreglass or abs are less than $1k for a set of 4, so $500 Max to do the rear. A roofrack is only about $1500-$2k and can hold at least 4 times the amount of the Panoz. So effectively costing $3k more to carry less, allbeit at a more convenient spot.
Yeah, Nah, $5k is way overpriced for what is effectively some ABS storage 100litre containers. The idea and function is awesome though. I think $1k per side is reasonable, and at that price you will increase your sales by a factor of x20. 70% of troopy owner across the globe would get a set, 100% no problem👌
Well done. Great product you have there Weston Works.
Great idea. Hope they make them for the F-150 some day.
Would be awesome for LC 76. Please let us know when you have. 🙏
I have thought about it, but it's a little tricky with the rear doors but something a little more radical may be on the cards.

How do you access the fuel cap for the sub tank?

You used up some brain cells thinking of this product good on you.
Are they worth $5000 though...?
