Loan Joffy to a First division team where he can be top dog striker for the second half of the season and get into a scoring groove. It will build his confidence. Then if he has a good loan period and we get promoted sell him to a Championship team or if we don’t get promoted let’s use him in our squad the next season.There is definitely a talented player in there waiting to be unleashed.

I've seen the best trainers who freeze in big games,I've seen lazy trainers come alive in big games,racehorses are the same.in my rugby days we had 3 or 4 cry offs against tough games or if the weather was likely to affect the pitch no fast whippet of of player liked to play on a quagmire. It slowed them down,to a level a forward could power through & take then out..
I love Archie but I hope he doesn't come back, I think it could disrupt him as he's only just left. He should stay and learn as much as he can even if he is not getting on every game. Joffy needs a new club with regular football.

If you have players who are performing why help another club develop their players? It's all very well and good if you are short but there is no reason to bring a player in if you are not. James is a difficult one, with the heavy schedule coming up leading to Christmas he needs minutes to get back up to speed but there is always a risk. Providing he is not over used and is managed well it could be good both for him and the club. Gelhardt was ruined by Marsch, he was doing it before he arrived and got him out of a number of difficult situations after he did arrive. Then despite praising him he just cast him aside and destroyed his confidence. There were times in Marsch's first full season when Aaronson wasn't performing and all Joffy got were a few minutes at the end of games when he had no chance to change things. A move out might be good for him but it depends on the club. Some players when coming into English football take a while to settle even if everything goes well but to have illnesses and injuries makes that even harder. We saw it with Firpo so let's be patient with Schmidt.
I could see joffy going to Plymouth on loan,roonies influence could pay dividends for a rejuvenating him having earlier been compared to a young roonies potential..
Farke generally doesn't want first team players dropping in. Same last season with Gelhardt and Cresswell. I think they need to use it more and agree with you. But farke has his ways and seldom changes.
I can understand fully why joffy would want to go on loan and I hope he gets it .. he is not really what you would call a young player anymore and he needs to be playing more regular football for his own development career and future !!

I have come to the conclusion taking the Cresswell situation as an example that Daniel Farke runs a Dictatorship style regime and players looking to get minutes can’t even have a word in his shell like. So it annoys me to see the narrative of stepping up in training being used. There must be be more democracy involved in the squad or we’re going to be seeing a carbon copy of last year. Not acceptable I’m afraid.
