Do these ever actually completely fail? And damage other parts of the engine? I.e. such poor timing that valves with collide or the timing is so off it simply won't run? It appears my tensioners are bad as well and I'm trying to determine if they are worth pulling the motor to replace.
They are still available! Do you have the wrong vehicle selected? Try clearing your vehicle and searching. jhmotorsports.com/shop/catalog/jhm-mechanical-cam-adjuster-repair-kit-pair-for-b6-b7-s4-c5-allroad-42l-p-2314.html
+JH Motorsports, Inc. (JHM) How hard is this to remove/replace the adjuster in-car? My car has bank 1 basically all dead/misfiring. I have had no choice but to be driving it since I can't lose transportation to work. Hopefully that's not causing any serious damage....
birosheep@freemail.hu Sheep81 hey bud Worst case scenario just throw in the spring without the washer. ive taken apart other cam sprockets before and they dont have one. audi does not sell them separately. its main purpose it to keep the spring centered but really there is very little room for movement. it'll be okay
Just bought 2004 b6 s4 cabriolet for cheap. Fixed oil leaks but has codes P0345, P0346, P1347, P1577, P0300, P0305, P0306. Anyone run into a neglected 4.2 by any chance? Any info much appreciated!!
I've tried with engine in on 05 A6 C6 4.2, it was pretty difficult to get all the cover bolts to get to cam adjuster. I ended up dropping the engine out and doing it that way.
th-cam.com/video/moq7Sf_vjXM/w-d-xo.html I changed the timing chain tensioner and the chain and i steel have this sound. I don't have any errors. Can be the adjuster? How can I test It? Thank you!

Yes, if neglected long enough it can cause major damage. Shoot an email over to sales@JHMotorsports.com
And very nice product
will this fit 2005 audi c6 a6 4.2 bnk
yes
I don't see this available for Q7 BAR. Am I missing it?
We offer these for the 40V non FSI engines. Typically on the FSI 32V we do not see timing related failures.
I can't find this and several other items on the site. Have you stopped making these?
