The only thing I think you've missed if this was a guide for people newer to installs would be measuring & matching the overall height to the ones coming off the car. Guess this only really matters if you want to keep the right height the same, but its worth the 2 seconds to measure and is so much easier to adjust whilst the coilovers are off the car and unloaded. How to set spring preload & Not adjusting ride height via the preload vs body height (i actually don't know if this is possible on this setup so I might be stupid) Although I reckon 95% of your audience is more than aware of these things, for the sake of people using it as a reference/guide! Keep up the awesome content!
It was great , this type of videos are good because it realy shows how simple services can be made and that we dont need a lot of tools just the right ones thank you for sharing your experience. Greetings from Portugal !
More detailed videos please, Knowledge is power.. I bought my e28 11+ years ago due to Rusty, when he was black, the picture with the boom box in it... Next is a e30/e30m3, so many videos help. 😀 even the ferrari build is making me think how to make my e28/cars lighter Lol
@@biro24 Yes, and don't forget to number the Episodes ie BMW M3 Episode 1, etc like the Ferrari episodes. Very interesting little machine the M3....I'm enjoying watching the re-build.
Is there anything sexier then a nice suspension, big brakes and a nice set of wheels? Looks killer, thanks for putting this channel out. So happy to see a youtube channel without the cheese.
Really like your E30 content as well. I'm getting old now so the flashbacks hit me hard when you went loose on the suspension on the M3. My first car was an Dolphin Grey 1989 325 iM. Although it plays another soundtrack and I'm a sucker for the straigh six, the angry growl of the M3 Evo is nothing but awesome! The Ferrari content is just amazing, I really like your somewhat laid back and humble attitude. Appreciate that you take us through slowly but steady. And like someone wrote - without the cheese, no crappy music or fancy editing. Continue to stay focused on what's matter. Your craftsmanship is fantastic. Also like that you provide the metric numbers, since I'm a Swede. I will continue to recommend your page. Best regards Stephan
Don't want to sound like mom and dad whining but i really suggest working with gloves. I ruined my skin with engine oil and other fluids and nowdays (like 20 years later) it really gets bad if i don't use gloves. It takes a little time to get used to but it's worth it. I like maxi flex gloves and nowdays i wouldn't like work without them. I realyl like your content and i'm always waiting for new episodes :)
I have wanted an E30 M3 for years and years. H&R makes some good $hit , Ive had their Springs,Cup Kits, & Coilovers on some VWs over the years. Too bad they don't make those for the E34 that Im currently running as a daily with blown shocks. Im thinking of going with Koni adjustables with the FK lowering springs I already got. Having an E30 M3 (in stock form) more or less would be my Ideal track/mountain road driving car.
Nice man! Looks like a quality setup, curious to see how it improves your driving and what you think of it compared to the old setup (I'm sure it will be worlds better). I just picked up an E30 and dropped both subframes yesterday for a full reinforcement/refresh/upgrade treatment with autoX and track days being my focus and I couldn't be more excited about it, it's a long time coming. Hope to be at Buttowillow later this year. Anyways, keep it up, enjoying the Ferrari, E30 and pickup content
Loving the content!! Also, are you going to be at riverside in Chattanooga on March 20th? It’s going to be a really good show! Mason is working his ass off for it haha
great walkthrough. just curious, did you spend time adjusting ride-height and dampening yet or is this just install? stoked to see this beast on track!
@@stanceworks Is that including the tender springs? I'm about to buy new springs for my M3 and I've been looking into a tender spring setup like yours. Could you post the tender spring rates as well? Thanks!
@@stanceworks I have helper springs on my car and the Helper springs are even thinner than your springs. Those look like every tender spring I have ever seen. When the cars on the ground are the thinner springs you have fully compressed? Usually the dual spring combo like that with very short main springs will have a helper like your setup has. Which makes those extremely high spring rates work well on the track.
So, what'd you think? Would you guys like more overall parts install videos like this one?

what rear brake setup do you have? is that just a spacer to center e36 m3 rears? which rear disc?
I see e30 m3 content I click the like, I’m a simple man. Great job so far on the channel, only complaint... need more episodes 😂
Working on it!
@@stanceworks keep the grind up! maybe turning my e30 into the track toy instead of my e46 m3... like many I have to many projects 😂

Props to you for not being afraid to take the E30 M3 onto the track where it belongs instead of storing them in garages to drive to shows only haha
This stuff is rad man. I don’t have any kind of mechanical background so seeing how you methodically work through various stuff is super helpful.
I appreciate that!
E30 M3....impossible to dislike that car.
So cool, old cars with modern damping tech is awesome. Have a set of PSS10 at home I need to mount on my 964, can't wait for the result!
Do it to it!
Yes sir E30 for the win
Love a E30 M3! Am enjoying the vids!

Enjoyed the E30 content👍👍
Can you do a video on the history of this m3? The story behind how you got it, where you found it and where it's at now?
I sure can!
This would be awesome.
Mmm yes bmw content loving this man love the background audio explanation but get the e36 on here
Love the bimmer content. Would love some more!
The Ferrari is my fave build currently, but this is great content as well. I’m here for it all.
As a Trackday guy I always like content like this 👊🏼
Nailed it! 👍
M3, Ferrari and or the Chevy truck you make my Tuesdays and Thursdays mornings bearable with my own Cars and Coffee.
I really appreciate that! Tons!
Super good mike. Informative. And your choice of cars just makes it so much better to watch
More content is good content Mike! Glad to see things are progressing nicely within the shop
Great video! Keep up the good work!
I just wanna say u have a crazy car collection bro
Good stuff Mike! Great seeing you at Chuckwalla last weekend.
Yes we need more stuff on the BMW 😊👍🏻
Yes!
Truck next please.😍👍
If you added a mk2 golf gti you myfriend would have my dream car collection . Just keep on doing what your doing Mike we all love your channel .
Well done!
Great content so far. Enjoy the flow of your builds and your build process.

Always top work
I would love to see more content like this 👍🏾
Doglog with 3:46 diff 👌🏼
very cool track car. I've had a bunch of M cars, but never the E30. I'd like to see more vids on that thing.
Well Done!
Awesome! Really well made and very helpful!
I have never seen such an after market brake cooler hose in a street car.
They were added decades ago when the car was a CCA club racer.
I enjoy this project more tham the Ferrari, keep it coming
Bro, you're doing great with the channel so far! I love the content and the good vibe you put out. Keep it up man!
It's an E30 M3; we'd probably watch a video of the camera just panning around it for 15 minutes. :) So yea, good stuff!
Wanna see the on track from Sunday!

@@stanceworks that sucks, but I’m loving your videos! Keep it up!
I really miss my E30 M3 cecotto I had it for 5 years back in 2000 ..
Nice brake kit. I wonder if H&R makes something for the 944 so you don't have to hollow out the exisiting housing for an insert. Hmmm.
Ya baby! E30 M3
Btw, what spring rates are you running?
Also, are those 345mm front rotors?
Cheers,
I'll have to measure the rotors!
I'm running 1027lb/in front, 1256lb/in rear.
From what the numbers look like in the video, the rates look like 1027f/1256r but that has to be wrong
No, that’s correct.
Sweet
Mike, your videos are great, you do an awesome job, you talk about everything in the process, how have you not mentioned cutting that epic beard off?
15:35 hopefully this happens to me one day.
Are you doing sub-frame bushings too? Are you going to do corner balancing?
Could you please leave a link to where I can buy the exact setup that your purchased that will be perfect thank you
Nice video, why did you choose h&r over the KW v3 which comes with the knuckle integrated?
What did you do to set ride height? Do you plan to corner balance or do a alignment after putting the new stuff on?
great walkthrough. just curious, did you spend time adjusting ride-height and dampening yet or is this just install? stoked to see this beast on track!
no new wheel studs?
Always find a reason to pull out the big torque wrench 😂
Very nice motor Mike.
Excited to see the difference, did you record lap times for a comparison ?
I haven't gotten to run the new suspension yet. This is only from last night!
@@stanceworks sorry, I meant did you log any times with the old set up ? For comparison
does H&R now do similar for the e21?
What happen to the Ferrari built?
currently looking for a clean e30 shell to k24 swap 🤔🤔
video of the test drive pleeease. ( :
what is the part number because i couldnt find these coilovers... any link ?
Cool shit
Curious to know what the spring rates are?
1027lb/in front, 1256lb/in rear.

I was thinking we can put a Toyota engine in that BMW????
Who gives this a thumbs down? Why? ...I dislike humans.
Normal e30's have a different front lower arm setup. Similar to e36. The m3 is similar to e34's 😁😁😁
I believe the technical description is "f*cked".
13mm? 16mm? What in the?!
Orginal ist klar Besser.. ich hatte HR Gewinde drinn..schrott für viel Geld
Return to Ferrari,...
