Surveillance cameras might have spotted Mike disabling the gate. Those big boxes might have protected the laptop as well. But I might be wrong, and that scene was still awesome

I know that it's not the case here, but I would presume you would spray the camera because what you are doing is going to be picked up on anyways, you do it so you and your cohorts are harder to identify. Yeah there were no other cameras at the compound and certainly no prints in the box truck at all. And all the guns, knives and other gear the officers were carrying aren't made of metal either.
Immediately my concern is that Mike covering the camera didn't get a response. That means that the cameras are not monitored, only reviewed after something goes wrong. That means that exactly this kind of thing can happen and the police would only be able to react to it rather than prevent it. It's even worse because we see an officer with a screen monitoring the evidence room so there are cameras that are actively monitored. I will say that I love that officer's presence of mind. My first thought upon seeing that would not be a magnet on the other side of the wall.

This was the first episode I watched. Didn't know what the heck I was watching, but I was hooked.
Yeah there were no other cameras at the compound and certainly no prints in the box truck at all. And all the guns, knives and other gear the officers were carrying aren't made of metal either.

Immediately my concern is that Mike covering the camera didn't get a response. That means that the cameras are not monitored, only reviewed after something goes wrong. That means that exactly this kind of thing can happen and the police would only be able to react to it rather than prevent it. It's even worse because we see an officer with a screen monitoring the evidence room so there are cameras that are actively monitored. I will say that I love that officer's presence of mind. My first thought upon seeing that would not be a magnet on the other side of the wall.
