You are going to another country means you obviously need their currency man. You won't use Indian Currency when you go to China or do you? You could have exchanged it in the Airport itself.

My Friend.....In Nepal Indian currency is working mostly in tourist places and also exchange easily .............. And we tryout many places to exchange currency even in airport but everyone is saying find other place in Nepal...... and they are saying Govt is not accepting BUT they charge extra 🙂 and its start working and accepting govt. also ...................

- As such no limit i saw anywhere ........... we keep hardly 10k Indian Rupees ........... but we carry our Debit Cards for all payment ................ From ATM you will easily withdraw Nepali currency .................... BUT there is issue in NEPAL they only take 100 Rs. Indian Currency............. or in locally you will exchange BUT its costly ....... So i will suggest keep Debit Card and withdraw from ATM only.................
