      Even though if a song/artist/sound ”stands the rest of time” dosen’t have to do with wheather one person still like the song/artist/sound decades later - but wheather the song/artist/sound still attracts new listeners decades later;
      I as a 27 year old music-lovet can confirm their music is still holding great standards today! Espacially this one 👌🏻👌🏻

    It's 1960, I'm 15, and I've just heard "Cathy's Clown". The start of my lifelong love of the boys music. Nothing, in my mind, can touch their harmonies and the stories in their songs. Songs that personified teenage life and angst in the 50s and 60s. And so, yet another of my musical hero's from that era has gone. I'll do my crying in the rain because it's all so sad. Rest in Peace Phil

    Love this song as it makes me think (and laugh) about my Mum and Dad. Mum's name was yes, Cathy, Dad's name became after the release of this
    single "Cathy's Clown". Sung to him every time he went into the local after
    work in those long long ago days. Even after the song fell out of the top 40, it
    was still a tune he got greeted with, even after I came along some ten years later.
    Died 40 years ago, I still miss Cathy's (a.k.a Dad) Clown.
